Hey, nice movie and superb sound :). I have a M635Csi with the almost the same engine. Is it possible to achieve the same sound with only the back muffler replaced with a race eisenmann if i can find one ofc :) ? I'm also interested in buying this car for my daily ride. Do i need to look at something special before buying one?.
Part of the sound comes from the fact that I do not have any cats installed, and if you can find this model car now for daily use, it is one hell of a blast. Glad you like the video, let me know how it works out. You can probably get close on the sound even with the cats . . .

Essentially just the muffler, the rest of the pipes are standard. In my case, I just use an x-pipe, no cats.

it is eisenmann muffler or whole exhaust system?

It is a 3.6, with cam sprockets from a 3.8, and an EAT D'Sylva chip.

the European version was a 3.8 inline 6. basically the same motor with a bored out block.
