@bigbreeze77 There is technically "online" for Dead Island, all you do is join other players but still play the same game/area which is more fun with more people. L4D is a more enclosed environment where you try to get from point A to point B. For me personally L4D is more fun just because you can be the Infected and it proposes some teamwork but so does Dead Island but you can manage without it.
