  • oh, btw: it's a great song, but i have to stop it after some seconds: it's so melancholic & dangerous music for the current state I'm in ;)

    And the movie was AWESOME

  • testing 1 2 3 ;)

  • @thomdrock Yes I can reply to this one. Thanks for your support : )

  • Lindissimo!!!!

  • You mean "You Only Live Twice" Theme!! Not OHMSS.

    Check for your self

    watch?v=PDitUVMMzE0

  • @SillyWillyFan47 I meant OHMSS as a slowed down version. But to be honest, you're correct about You Only Live Twice. Both descend.

  • Wow! I love this!

  • @MuttleeCrew Lol cheers. I'm pleased so many like this.

  • "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is one of my top 10 Bond songs. Think I rated it number four. "Goldfinger", "Licence to Kill" and "Thunderball" were ahead of it. Barry wrote most of them.

  • It is the most favorite music in movie theme music.John Barry and Toots Thielemans are the best.

  • @goodmv212 Bought this on vinyl within days of seeing the movie in '89. Saw it on a black and white portable lol

  • lifes feeling in music

  • Extraordinary! John Barry was one of the greatest film composers of all times!

  • This music's been haunting me for years and I had a mental block on its being from Midnight Cowboy because I kept thinking the theme song was Everybody's Talkin'. That fact sort of blocked my memory and I couldn't find this. It's so damn good. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • @clemdane Cool. If I can't pass missions on my videogames, I read a message like yours and then I know I'm doing SOMETHING right :)

  • Fantastic!! J. Barry is legend. Jozetsuki52, 谷愚痴庵

  • thank you Kelly , 69 was a great year and the end to what was an incredible decade ,John Barry will be greatly missed but his music will keep his name alive for ever..............:)

  • Kelly - thanks for the great sound on this, WAY better than all other versions. I made this my feature in tribute to John Barry this week & sent a bulletin about it to my 1500 subscribers. Appreciate your musical contributions to youtube ! ! ! You & others have helped me assemble a library of over 600 playlists that cover a century of worldwide music. chuck

  • @chkjns Lol! The reason I stopped uploading for the time being is because I have to REFORMAT my ENTIRE CD collection : (

  • Homage to John Barry forever

  • John Barry died yesterday in New York. He was born in York, North Yorkshire, England, November 3rd 1933.

  • I understand John Barry wrote this; who played the harmonica--anybody know?

  • @PokeyGreen The one playing harmonica on the soundtrack is Toots Thielemans. There are many recordings of his to be found on youtube. Enjoy!

  • @PokeyGreen "Toots" Thieleman?

  • Thank you for posting this! I heard it on a number of other pages accompanied by many clicks and irritants. Now I can enjoy the best of Barry.

  • John Barry rocks! Also check out Zulu and The Black Hole.Along with Bond and Midnight Cowboy they are the best films ever.
