  • the first one

  • Highly sophisticated office computer :D

  • @kendowater if I made that ad i'd have a mouse drop down

  • I think Apple had waged a total war with these adds. Their commercials always seemed so out of this world. Almost scary. Completely aggressive stuff. And so "nosy". As if they are challenging a fools intellect and they persuade him to buy one. Give me a break!

  • It could be a home computer too.

  • 0:04 really?

  • I like Both!

  • xD this is almost insulting "The computer for the rest of us" xD

  • @Schansuperrad lol, and they played that same slogan till early 2000!

  • @RfBnRcTl Funny, I can't remember Amiga being around in 1984 when this ad was made.

  • "The computer for the rest of us idiots..."

  • Where can I get those grimy yellow coloured computer casings for my pc? There are just the best!

  • Mfw they think reading less makes it more sophisticated...

  • i'd like to see the manual for the macintosh :)

  • @douchebagandpie Lol, It's much like the manual that comes with the iPod Touch! Oh wait, THERE IS NO MANUAL! So apple must have left things out...

  • Mac is more sofisticated, he says it already 00:23.

    jk. i dont realy care.

  • lol luvin the old commercails

  • lol awsome

  • Mac and Pc wars have been raging for hundreds of years, and will continue for a thousand more...

  • highly sophisticated computer xD

  • Is this the new iPad?

  • i would buy the one with the more instruction because its way cheaper than the mec

  • @edgarvega3 Actually, back then, this Mac was cheaper.

  • the mac paper instructions are still thick as hell xD

  • aah, the old green screen! 8)

  • Which one is more sophisticated? The one that has software.

  • just lol xD

  • wow thats still a lot to read

    hahaha

  • Those shoebox Macs that I used in school had manuals too. In fact I missed the days when every software came with manuals. Now days it's look at the Internet (more confusion) and buy expensive books.

I absolutely disliked the tiny screen and that floppy drive - disks always got stuck there. But the softwares were cool like hypercard and pascal. In fact, I wish hypercard is still around.

  • You can talk crap about these machines, but the truth is,if you dont have the support of a large number of people then the comptuer is not going to sell, remember in those days it was the software that made the those computers popular, without the software, the computer was just a piece of junk, unless you were a programmer........,take for example the Dreamcast.....the games were not coming out fast enough....and it disapeared, but look at sony playstation lots of games, thats what sells consoles....

  • I'll second that.

  • Wow. Apple was appealing to the idiots back in the 80s too.

  • Why would you have to learn or read anything if the computer is so easy

  • @kendowater

Some people (mostly >45) can't use the computer.

  • @kendowater for the "slower" people who are getting computers, and dont know how to turn it on haha

  • @kendowater You're being sarcastic, right?

  • @kendowater because it is the first ever GUI interface for a consumer product and no one had seen it b4.

but for a first time computer user, it is much simpler than learning DOS for the first time.

  • @kendowater Because the year is 1984, and the majority of people still haven't touched a computer in the lives.

  • It's nice to see that the commercials really haven't changed much.

  • 1mb hardrive of pure win.

  • @TheBagelBrotherz

You have 2 mb ... and you rule the world

  • @TheBagelBrotherz Try "no" hard drive.

  • notice how the PC shakes when the books come down.

  • wow the past is so wierfd. but we have to remeber these were FIRST computers must be hell trying to learn how to use one

  • LOL it would of been better if they didn't even HAVE a manual. I use to use Macs in my middle school from 5th-7th grade and I hated them. Started back again in 10th-11th. Ironically , I own a iMac today. I think they really got me with the iPods, it made me want to explore their other products. Then came the iPhone -- which had calenders - an address book that worked seamlessly with a Mac so it only made sense. They definitely got that strategy right. Started from the bottom up.

  • who the hell would like a rotten cream color computer more than black or crisp white. I guess back then they couldnt achieve apples crisp white color, but black would have been much better.

  • Thats Windows 95 i cant beleve people still use that you need to get a new computer that has Windows Vista or Windows Xp Get With the date it's 2008 almost 2009

  • sorry but i agree PC IS HARD TO LEARN it took me 4 and a half years to learn how to install EVERYTHING onto a windows 95 pop up blockers and everyting at 10 years old! lets see the kids these days do that

  • yeah! you're all right. I was using DOS at these days, and learn all was not easy, but I learned it xD

  • I'd have to say the one on the left is more sophisticated. It has a bigger manual so it MUST be better :P

  • rofl

  • Of course Commodore and Atari had computers 10+ years more advanced than a Mac though...EVERYTHING is better than a PC, that's not really saying much :)

  • don't forget amigas :-)

  • amen bro

  • daaaaaaaa

  • My god those computers look old.

  • Linux FTW

  • shadup noob

  • LOL the funny part is you say "most annoying pc" and pc now-days means IBM-compatible computers Which does not include macs. LOL this is the funniest thing i've read in the last... 2 minutes
