Why is the Tau not in Dawn of War 2? I mean I know the other races are more popular, but they would be extremely easy to design for because all their units are extremely specialised, they wouldn't need to explain why I have to buy a seperate space marine with a heavy bolter for a suppression squad. Like they didn't have any laying around so needed someone to ne airdropped in with one.

i dont know about tau now. but in the first version of the tau codex i thought they needed a bit of a nerf.

they destroy so much of your army in shooting so fast that by the time you make it to the bulk of there army to get them in melee. theres hardly anything left. I think this would be fine if it wasnt for the kroot, they can easily mop whats left in melee of your army due the fact there almost elite melee units.. in an elite ranged army. didnt really make sense to me.

I know what you are saying, and i am not bad mouthing Marines, they are great, i have a 2000 point force and i have like one of every unit in the codex, just whenever i played as my marines, they were so hard to kill, that i didnt have to think tactically, i like teh fact that tau are physically weaker and bad at melee, it means, you require more thinking than rather knowing that your guys are good at everything, but even Marines shouldnt stay in a Tau firing lines sight for too long.

Charging into close combat in the 41st millenium isnt the brightest idea, besides Tau have noticed that they are not physically built for close combat, so saying OMG FIGHT IN CLOSE COMBAT is just stupid, Tau are smart, clearly, orks are too, they notice their physical strength, and so take up vlose quarters fighting, it feels good to slaughter your opponent with firing line anyway

for Tau you have to glue them all but only use a wee bit, its acctually quick and easy just make sure glue is dry before painting because my freind didnt and his brush was stuck to his £5 space marine general and he used super glue, lol, make sure you buy warhammmer plastic glue
