  • Serpico there, no...but there were other rats nearby.

  • Serpico there?

  • Once upon a time in a city that beautiful beyond belief there were men who really wanted to do their job. then came liberals they destroyed the city turned it into a 24 hour a day nightmare they destroyed the best police department in the world and turned it into a Robot batallion now all must suffer so they can stay in office.

  • I wish that they bring back the blue shirts, and the blue RMP's!

  • my dad is in the back row. he looks fat lol

  • NYPD is the best comedy show since Amos and Andy left the air

  • Drum roll, please!

  • before forced diversity

  • @haywood16 Diversity actually made it interesting. The problem is poor screening of applicants just to get the hiring numbers that the NYPD wants.

  • @RUHOORUHOO thats true

  • Um what year did the NYPD stop wearing blue shirts and start wearing Black ?

  • Anyone in the "46" remeber "Jimmy Barry" the car guy? or John Ferris, The LTS Op? Good times in that command! The best group of Cops I ever worked with! Andy Moore, was the property guy. We had Gertelle Padgett, who was by far the best Rollcall Lady Ever! How about "SIMON", The PCT EDP? please reach out to me! No good stories about DI Gilroy Please!

  • I heard stories about that ":azzhole" Ugly with a moustache! Never much of a cop though! Last I heard he was a "DOOSHBAG LT". I worked in the 46 where they were real cops who would lay down and die for you if need be. This was when it was really the "46". "Late 80's, early "90"s.

  • ready to get shot.

  • As a recently retired BXTF cop, the TF is still in that building. I swear those are the same pretzels in the vending machine.

  • Only difference,is the price.

  • @TheJoey1s Academy class 8155 September 1980 over here

  • I'm forever grateful to the 44 for allowing me exposure to the life which I became part of. My volunteer days were memorable, especially from a coordinator with so much patience. To my ol volunteer friends and especially you PO Parker(RIP), THANK YOU! Elzey, hope you know who this is.

  • @sgtsanchez1231 I worked at the 44 for about a month squad 7 and was partnered with a Craig Ferguson. So you know him?

  • I was able to find out how Al Morales.(RIP)

  • @sgtsanchez1231 Nevermind APO Sarge Sanchez that was the 46 where I worked with Ferguson Dyer Avenue off the Concourse. I seem to remember the patrol borders intersecting we had a off duty MOS involved in a gun run at River Park Towers and units from your command responded for back. Man I really miss the job.

  • I remember these roll call and the familiar faces. Reading here I see that Al Morales is no longer with us. Without affending the Ol 44 brothers, can anyone tell me how he passed? 44 Foever!

  • remembering the good old day,s. god bless all that have move on. A/P.O. MARK ELZEY.

  • @italia210

    ii see ya point lolsz

    city is cheap!

nd i must say we look better in the navy blue than that sky blue crappy shirt!

    iit looks gay lolsz

  • haha that guy who keeps waving cracks me up

  • old school nypd with the old blue shirts not the shit today!

  • "He's upstairs" I guess some things never change haha

  • Ron Connelly..??

I was inTransit with before I rolled over in '87.

Never knew him as a boss

    Left in '05...best move evah..

  • I don't doubt that some of these cops were great cops, but, that guy Ron Connelly, who works in the 40 as a Lt., is a Biiiiiiiiiiig Dick! Its hard to imagine that he came from such a hard working house and turned out to be such a tool. And he's extremely shaky and will throw you under the bus. NEVER backs up any of his officers.

Ron Con is a Big Schoolyard Bully!

PS- This opinion is coming from a 15yr Veteran of the 40pct. (ask anyone in the 40, they will agree)

  • Thats too bad to hear. Too many toolboxes in the NYPD. Did my 20 and left. I'm working for Allentown, PA, now. The bosses leave you alone as long as you do what is expected. How is Lt Jemal Doute? Is he in charge of the parking plackards at the 40?

  • @RUHOORUHOO oh, you heard about that? 20 and left, but you still got your ear to the ground, huh? LOL. Doute is actually an alright Boss, so far. He replaced RonCon as Spec Ops Lt. Complete opposite of RonCon. Haven't heard one negative thing about him while he's been here.

  • @RUHOORUHOO What county is that?

  • @Maxakiller Bronx New York .

  • ya da hell they wear only one NYPD patch?

  • At that time, it was only one patch.

  • @TuYankeepimp90

    Crack Era...... Baby.

  • @TuYankeepimp90

B4 1995 NYPD wore their patches on the right arm, While NYC Housing Police wore theirs on the Left. After 1995 the Departments were merged an now wear patches on both sides.

  • @TuYankeepimp90 before this, it was none

  • I wore the powder blue shirt Back in 1984until they switch back to the dark blue and man It was total hell in the hot summer days in coney Island on the Boardwalk. What Memories!! Retired 2004!

  • retired? then tell mii y they wear only 1 nypd patch?

  • now those where cops not these college cops who always need backup to arrest one guy

  • Shit I was there!!!

  • I live in the area covered by the 44th pct... My respect to each one of the fine officers who turn out of my residence precinct and to those who served way before I lived in the area.

  • God Bless Artie Greco, Al Morales, Sean McDonald and Micheal Troy...RIP and to all those guys in the video may you all have exceeded in life and are now enjoying your retirements. God Bless....

  • Most definitely an end of an era. I worked with all those guys a year later when i got to the 44 and all those guys were true cops. When you flew out to a detail especially down to the city, you wore your 44 collar brass with pride cause everyone knew you worked out of a kick ass house. you couldn't ask for a better station house than that, complete with its run down break room, lockers, and weight room down in the basement, god only knew how much asbestos we must of inhaled.

  • RIP Al Morales, Sean McDonald and Mike Troy!!! That place was the best place to work in. Too bad they don't do the Thirsty Third Platoon outings and the Mike Troy golf outing. That place changed but 44 for life!!!!

  • Sgt. Laura Douglas is MY AUNTIE!!

  • @CelineTwilightLuvr

Was she actually doing R/C behind a turned around podium..???

    LOL

  • Ditto on Al Morales. I was a 48 cop but I worked with Jimmy Ruane and Kevin Kelly. KK is the best.

  • Al Morales was a great guy, and a great cop. If you had the right attitude in life, he loved you to death. If you acted like a skell, he treated you like a skell should be treated. RIP, Al, we all miss you.

  • @RUHOORUHOO thank you very much for saying nice things about my dad, i miss him alot and love him so much, thank u :)

  • @GodNeos274 Your very welcome. All the best. It is nice to see, isn't it. I'm very glad I made this.

  • @GodNeos274 Your very welcome. All the best. It is nice to see, isn't it. I'm very glad I made this.

  • @RUHOORUHOO yea its very nice to see him once again, this is probably the only thing i have left of seeing him again except 1 picture i have of him, but thank u very much, its makes me very happy :)

  • This was the greatest group of guys I have ever worked with. They worked hard and long to turn the 44 into one of the safest spots on the planet. At this time in 1989 it was the most dangerous spots in the world. We did it with humor, will, determination and team work. The fine guy waving at the camera is Al Morales one of the best. Rest In Peace Al you are truley missed my friend...I see Orange Man, Whitey and Jimmy R ...What a crew....CC

  • The guy in the back left knew this was going to show up on YOU TUBE one day, and wanted no part of it. 44 had a lot of great guys and they were great cops, too!!
