@jaworskij , I am now aware of the HAARP device which is based in Alaska. It can create tsunamis, earthquakes, and activate volcanoes. So perhaps Lorne knew this caused the tsunami in Phucket and wanted to do a story on it or something. I don't have all the answers.

He may have been murdered because he knew something was wrong about the tsunami in Phucket.
How could he "drown" if he was a scuba diver. Doesn't make any sense.
I've heard of the Illuminati "suiciding" people if they know too much too close.
