Nice work, Darrell! I wouldn't obsess over Buddy, though. He spent practically his whole life on stage honing his chops and feel. His technique became so natural that his playing was as effortless as speaking. But with practice like this, you'll develop similarly. Just be sure to be YOU, and not try to be a Buddy clone. There was only one Buddy Rich. And there is only one Darrell Bacon, too. Find your own inner voice and style! (And expect it to be different from Buddy's.)
