BAH i like the overall story of Ramayan but does anyone notice they put in every pointless piece of dialogue that you would never get in a western film. And its not very exiting for the viewer to see people having idle conversation which does nothing to progress the plot. Wish I could just remake this I would make the actors act like real people would have at tat time not this overly goodie goodie version they trying to portray. They make good people overly good and bad people overly bad...
@shaktiX Fair comment, I agree the way good and evil is portrayed in this depiction is very childish. However, the dialogue in Valmiki's Ramayan is more crucial than the main story because of the wisdom contained therein. It's just a shame that the dialogue in this version is diluted with the director's own input, and frustratingly, is not interpreted correctly in the subtitles... Some of the dialogue is exquisite and the bland interpretations do it no justice. Such a shame

I wonder who introduced this wonderful style, Valmiki, or Director or Script writer. If we all could speak that way the world would have remained livable.

Bharat is the weird looking one!! he looks funny! shatrughan looks like shahid kapoor......Lakshman is the most adorable n cute one, Ram is cute too..
