@nviso209 What went up your arse? All this video is, is a test to see how simple the user interface of the iPad is to a child with little experience with computers.
my nephew is 2 he functions the IPAD better than me. He knows each application and favorite cartoons where they are but I'm kinda against it because he zones out when he's on it. I tell my brother too much technology at a young age isn't healthy. He tells me you don't want him to be the only kid in his class that's way behind.
One of my favorites. It´s so wonderful to see a child develop so well. Only 2/3 years old and she´s so jaunty. Well done, parents for stimulating her educationally. And I totally agree with "shutyourpiehole" about not talking down to her etc. It's so much better for the child's development and perspective as well.
You can see one reason she is so smart by the way Dad is not talking down to her, encouraging her curiosity (which is one of the clear signs of I.Q. and E.Q,). Great job Dad (and Mom no doubt). This is what Apple always hoped for.
You are lying. This isn't her "first encounter" with an iPad. It is obvious she knew how to move objects on the screen, stop apps, open them and use the piano. Who in the world are you trying to fool. She is cute but my 22 month old has real skills with the iPad.
@manitou1954 ehmm, ok, Hey um stupid, in the description its CLEARLY says that she was always playing with his iphone so of course she can move the objects and work the ipad a bit, you have a kid but cant even read properly...sad
Very adorable and fun video. My dad probably felt the way you did entering MS_DOS commands so I could play simple games with the keyboard on a black and yellow monitor.
@scottylans I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that you're an idiot who doesn't know how to read the description. Well, at least one of us was right...
Very cute! You may want to purchase her some iBallz so that her smile (or yours) doesn't fade when she drops it... She'd probably giggle when it bounces!
Uko Seasons is a game for children 3 years of age and above. In this game they will learn the seasons of the year in an entertaining way, associating clothes and accessories that go with each corresponding season. The scenes transport you to a fun world of pleasant animations, which will wake up the senses of your little ones in the house.
Oh my god, when this girl is 40 years old and see a youtube video of a 2,5 Year Old boy, who is playing with a time machine, She´ll say too:"When i was young, i was happy to have an Ipad"
Technology bringing generations together <3 When I was 2.5 years old, I had my first encounter with my dad's macintosh. This brings me good memories. Good luck to you and your kid :3
this is IMPRESSIVE, she just goes into every program and plays with them like a pro. People who say every generations getting dumber are wrong, just imagine the kinda stuff these kids will be inventing when they are grown.
What i love is the fact people always underestimate a child, that they are too young to understand or you cant touch this because you dont know better... i love how this little girl catches on so quickly she makes many adult seem stupid...
will you be performing further psychonuerotic tests? I advise that you give her 100cc of anasthetic to make the experiment as scientifically fair as possible.
So easy, a 2.5 year old can use it! Now, when she grows up, maybe she can use an adult tablet and computer, like an Android-based phone or a Linux PC. :) Leave the Apples and Macs where they belong, with children.
Guys, the uploader stated in the description that her daughter enjoyed playing his iPhone, which means she used iOS before. That's why she's quite familiar with it. L2R :)
To everyone saying this isn't her first encounter, read the description: "My daughter likes playing with my iPhone, but this was her very first encounter with an iPad."
They iPhone and iPad are similar enough for this to be completely believable.
Just goes to show the level of usability apple has created. Even my 1 year old niece knows how to use my iPhone. She doesn't know how to play the games all the way but she can get around it. Her favorite app is the talking Tom cat.
In the description it says, she's played with his iPhone tons of time, so that might be why.
Nonetheless, this is possible, I have a nephew who's capable of such motor and cognitive skills but definitely nothing special happened on the 'first' time.
Aren't little kids amazing? Not phased at all by new technology.. just open minded resourceful and inquisitive! Who says you can't learn through play :-)

P.s. by the way I didn't mean anything bad about your kid, this is really cute hehe
@cormacmccoy thats one way to look at it but you know, maybe ADHD isn't actually a bad thing. our minds are learning to multitask and handle a bunch of things at once, maybe these "ADHD" are faster and more advanced minds
scrolls through (already an impossibility to have guessed) to find the game she wants to play then gets bored of it immediately (No child would get sick of a paint program/game as quickly as that) and then knew where the home button was to exit out finds some other game that quick.
