  • eating this as i see the video of how i got the idea LOL..great recipe lee

  • This is probly relle good to have at night when we have a crazy craving to eat something huh? XD

  • @PapaD93

For sure, it's a healthy alternative to eating high carb junk food.

  • This is an amazing snack to have. High protein low carb and good fats. Perfect for my diet, and tastes great :-) kinda addicting XD

  • @PapaD93

Yeah, I go through phases of eating a couple of these a day :-)

  • @leemhayward I was thinking, as a night snack this would be better with casein right? haha

  • @PapaD93

I'm sure it would work fine, but I've never tried it with Casein Protein myself.

  • Nice video. How do you do the cooking in an oven? I am anti-microwaves.Thanks.

  • @BitConfig

Honestly I have no idea, I only made these in the micowave. But I guess you could just mix it up and put it in the oven and keep an eye on them to find out how long they would need.

  • quite the arm workout gettin these mixed, haha..pretty yummy tho thnx

  • looks great, but, wouldn't the heat ruin the protein??

  • @fernandocoag

No, the protein is still good as long as you don't burn them.

  • Can you use any type of protein

  • @RyzingTerror

I prefer to use whey protein powder, but any brand will work.

  • just made these for the first time so quick and easy, and taste pretty good! i think ive found my bedtime snack recipe!

  • Not bad at all! I will say that the peanut butter is the key ingredient! It makes the whole thing taste kinda good! I had a few little bits of PB all over! Yum-o! Next time i will try it with 2 egg whites, not a whole egg! We will see! Thanks! :)

  • @mucunka123

You'll probably need a bigger cup to mix it up in. With 2 eggs it will most likely rise out of the cup and spill over when heating up.

  • Dude your a legend!

    They are really nice :D

  • thanks for the recipe i tried it with a little bit milk and it tasted fantastic thank you brother

  • can this be eaten in the night before going to bed

  • @stackindatpapa

Sure, it's a high protein & low carb food so it is great for a bed time snack.

  • Hello brother, how r u?

I appreciated the recipe and as i'm brazilian an my english sucks i'm watching the movie again and again but i can't understand what is the third ingredient of the recipe. Eggs + whey protein + ?? Also last thing u put in the brownie was ice cream? Sorry and thanks! :]

  • @juzepepe

I put peanut butter in the brownie recipe. And the topping was whip cream.

  • I just made this and I was surprised how well it turned out! I really dislike eggs so I used an egg substitute (powder mixed with water) and even thought it added a few carbs, it's still really good. Thanks! I had no idea protein powder could be used for something other than drinks.

  • I just made this a wow was it great ! i used 1 scoop MyoFusion Milk chocolate, 1 tbsp smooth peanut butter and 1 large egg, sooooo tasty and great for you ! macros were

    35g protein, 16g healthy fats, 9g carbs and 325 calories :D

  • I just made this a wow was it great ! i used 1 scoop MyoFusion Milk choclate, 1 tbsp smooth peanut butter and 1 large egg, sooooo tasty and great for you ! macros were

    35g protein, 16g healthy fats, 9g carbs and 325 calories :D

  • I agree with @mychulita. If everyone is such a pro, why don't they make videos for us on the "correct" way? Pahhh! Thanks for the recipe. : )

  • man this guy is such a badass, he makes delicous recipes that are perfect for p90x, bodybuilding, or weight loss, my hat is off to you sir, keep it up

  • This is my first time watching your video. And defiantly subscribing. You also look like you compete. I do also and love bodybuilding. Defiantly trying this out.

  • Been doing low carb for over 7 years. Protein powder when microwaving does come out a bit chewy or dry. Did you know that cool whip is not low carb. Your better off mixing up heavy whipping cream and a bit of davinchi vanilla instead of the cool whip if nothing else because of the trans fats.

  • @SkeeterN

I guess it all depends on what you consider "low carb". This particular one has about 1 gram of carbohydrate per tablespoonful. So if you are using 3-4 tablespoonfuls that's only 3-4 grams of carbs and most people would consider that to be "low".

  • @leemhayward

What are the ingredients in it? I go by that more than what they post on the side.

read the label of "Sugarfree" Cool Whip.

Ingredients: Water, corn syrup, hydrogenated oil (and I didn't read the rest.)

Corn syrup isn't sugar???? You believe this? But if you make your own you know whats in it.

  • I had lap band so this high protein low carb recipe is great :) tks

  • This is a reallly simple and tasty way to get a high protein, low carb snack. I felt like I was cheating without actually cheating. I used Milk Chocolate Myofusion from Gaspari Nutrition, It tastes amazing. Thanks Lee :-

  • hi lee, i just wanna say that i tink ur really hot and i honestly just tune in just to watch u make the food, i dont follow any low carb diet as im already slim but keep up the good work!!! xxxx

  • This works great and taste great as well if you only have vanilla: 1 Egg w/ yolk, peanut butter, 1 1/2 scoop of whey powder, one handful of almonds, and a bit of water, after it comes out, drizzle with honey or yogurt.

  • wow im really surprised, these taste really good!

  • Hey I was wondering. Doesn't cooking (microwave) protein powder kill off the protein ?

  • @xBiGHEADD

No it doesn't "Kill" the protein. Protein powder isn't alive to begin with :-)

But to answer your question you can still cook with protein powder and reap the nutritional benefits from it.

  • @xBiGHEADD you mean denature, it may if you cook for too long.

  • Hey lee,

I just made this about 10 minutes ago and it came out chewy and pretty tough. I was wondering if this was how it was supposed to turn out?

  • @ThoseHotChicksAreHot

They are a bit chewy, so I would say you made them right :-)

  • @leemhayward Ok thanks, it is pretty tasty also!

  • That is Awesome!!

  • I have never thought abt that . Tat looks good to eat.. thnx for the vid..

  • im bout make some lol

  • i've been using a protein combo weight gainer (mutant mass). of course it will have more carbs/calories, but will this recipe still work? thanks a ton great video.

  • @nogoodnamesleft111

It should still work, give it a try and see...

  • I make a similar thing but just using water. 1 scoop choc protein, splenda, then a tspn of cocoa powder - not drinking choc. MUST be cocoa. Add enough water to turn it into cake batter consistency. Put a spoon on peanut butter in the center then microwave until you see it rise to the top of the cup. Take it out let it cool downa bit and it's exactly like choc brownie!! I stopped using egg because sometimes if you don't stir it enough you get bits of egg white running through it - not pleasant!

  • Hello I would like to feature this in my low carb blog!

    squidoo.com/delicious-low-carb-desserts

  • not bad!! i'm eating one right now...only thing i did different was to mix the ingredients in a bowl. i sprayed my microwavable cup with pam and it slid right out. thanks lee!!

  • Fantastic attempt! I like your video so much.

  • really nice... but again this "cool whipp cream" (don't really know how it is written).

I simply don't know what this is! I have never seen something like this here in a german supermarket. Is it comparable to cottage cheese or something like that?

    Greetz!

  • @MaxThePeach

Cool Whip is just a brand name of cream. You are probably familiar with having strawberries and cream. It's similar to that, just a light whipping cream that is a tasty topping.

  • @leemhayward

ok I see. I'm just not familiar with such a kind of cream to use as a base to bake something... never seen this here. But I will keep my eyes open because that is a really nice option to bake. Thanks

  • @MaxThePeach

Cool Whip is not cream. It's a Whip Cream substitute that is sold in the USA made from Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Corn Syrup, and a small amount of skim milk & light cream. It used to be made without any dairy at all.

Quite frankly the ingredient list is disgusting.

  • @MaxThePeach gepeitschte Nicht Milchcreme or vegane Schlagsahne??? It's really just a tub of non dairy whipped topping Max, but in bonn I saw this in a can!:-) soyatoo!

  • @MaxThePeach

Cool Whip is to whip cream what margarine is to butter

  • When you microwave the protein does it lower it value or anything? thanks

  • you da man muscle chef!! brownies are beautiful mate!!!!!

  • yeh ive benn in the mass gaining process for several weeks and now ready to go for more toned look. this looks great and i'll be sure to pack it in my lunch tommorrow

  • could you make the same concept with using a low fat brownie mix and adding like 3-4 whey scoops and a couple of spoons of natural peanut butter, or would the concept just be bad in general?? just wondering cause i was interested in making a batch instead of just a couple at a time....thanx

  • to be brutally honest...it wasnt a very "tasty" treat. i really gave this a chance because it is easy to make...and i tried with 2 differetn chocolate wheys.

  • @XBladeWingX

The main thing here is that it's a high protein and low carb snack. If all you care about is taste just go with Krispy Kreme donuts instead :-)

  • @leemhayward That is the BEST response I've read ! I am going right now and trying this , but, all I have is Vanilla Ice Cream Whet so , here I go .

  • I think I'm becoming a protein brownie addict. 5 days and already 3 servings of this. lol :)

  • Or should I say evil twin

  • Ya I know I think she messed it up, she used vanilla protein powder (some cheesy brand) and put some low calorie swiss miss in to make it chocolately and egg whites instead of an egg

  • @rstewarthome

Well if you changed the ingredients then no wonder it didn't turn out LOL. Generally the way a recipe works is you actually follow it by using the recommended ingredients. Not swapping half of them for something else :-)

Now it's not always bad, sometimes you can luck out, mess up a recipe, and actually make it taste better. But more often than not it doesn't work that way.

  • @leemhayward

Hi this is the person who made the recipe.... I'm sorry for my sisters mean comment she was being an idiot!! I have never had chocolate whey protein stuff before and we only have vanilla, so I thought that if I put a little bit of swiss miss in the vanilla powder, it would taste like chocolate. Didn't turn out too well.... not your fault at all!! I'm only 14 so I can't drive to the store either... so I have another excuse... I'm sorry for her mean comment.. its tough having a twin

  • my sister made this for my brother and I, and it was soooo horrible!!! It tasted like a sponge that sat in dog poop for 10 years! Don't make this recipe.

  • @rstewarthome

Wow, I've never had the chance to eat sponge or dog poop, let alone vintage 10 year old sponge in dog poop LOL But just one person screws up a recipe doesn't mean "everyone" will screw it up. What brand of protein powder did she use? A good tasting protein can make or break this one.

  • Threw it in the garbage haha, not worth it in my opinion.

  • @coolboy111

Do you do that with a lot of your cooking ? LOL

  • Do you have some nutritional data, i dont have a food weight. I ate the whole thing i didnt eat it in portions, it was very good indeed. I also used some honey instead of cool whip since they dont sell healthy cool whip here. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • @teliosteroide

About 290 cals, 23g of fat, 34g prots and 11.3g of carbs.

  • i just made this, and man it was good. Thanks for the recipe, but is it ok to eat the whole thing? do you have some sort of nutritional data on this because i dont have a food weight. I ate the whole thing and used some honey instead of cool whip since they dont sell it here in norway

  • Lee, this is a great recipe! im going to try it, but my question is, if i want a bigger batch, do i just double or triple the ingrediants and put it in 2-3 cups?

like get 3 cups and do this 3 times over? (1 per cup)

  • @mbt9000

Yeah, just double the portions if you want to double the size of the batch. Pretty simple.

  • it may not taste as good as regular brownies but if you want to stay in shape you have to make sacrifices, personally i think its great to have after i finish my workout on a saturday : )

  • yeah going to have to agree... tastes like crap! I used banana whey... but it was so flavorless I had to put a little peanut butter on it for topping... hardly delicious and no I don't think the mild hint of chocolate flavor would make it better

  • this is also ideal for a treat for a type 2 diabetic, works great to take off the edge when you want something for a treat.

  • Tree dating no cost naughty women here ** mworld5.info **

  • hey man i like urs vids but my brownie tasted like dog shit hah

  • awesome video!!

  • No one dating site for naughty people **mworld5.info**

  • lol i tried making this, lets just say my version was a complete disaster

  • I don't get it , if you people don't have nothing good to say why don't just shut up? ..... This recipe is for people that like to be in shape but at the same time have a little treat. It looks good to me!!

  • is it ok if i used eggbeaters? or egg whites for this recipe?

  • would kit work with just an egg white?

  • I really don't think it is good to base ur meals on protein powders. Try eating real food? lol.

  • These things are great had a feew of hem tonight and they taiste goody for this poiece of staek.

  • Why do you put egg in a brownie?

  • that watery peaunt butter is gross natrual jiff is the best not the hydronated oil one

  • I'd say it probably depends on what protien powder you use whether it turns out tasting great or bad

  • Lee I tried this recipe and it is pretty good, but for an egg, is 55 sec in the microwave long and efficient enough to kill the bacteria in the egg so u dont get sick?

  • Hey lee i like your vids, but man this is some horse shit tasting brownies. I wouldn't feed this to a damn dog.

  • @WCConvict

agree, mine didn't work out for me either, tasted like rubber.

  • wow props really simple to make too, doesn't taste bad either

  • Tried this the other day, not bad, not bad (even with Casein). Even my wife thought it was good with a bit of smart balance lite butter. Thanks Lee!

  • wow this is amazing!

  • God!...is so funny to see a big muscle guy cooking!...hahaha

  • nice one just had it after my workout! just one comment: wash ur hands after you cracked the egg. Dont wanna get salmonella do we? :) cheers again

  • thanks lee!!

  • i use the oven for this no microwave

  • how long do you put it in for?

  • @ianhudon 425 F for 2min to5min check it out

  • just try it....ummm its coming out like a sponge. ima reduce the cooking time and see how it comes out....great recipe lee thanks

  • beats evry recepie out there, so simple, thank yoU!

  • this is amazing, thank you lee. Tastes great, worked with reg. PB for me just takes longer to mix.

  • Cooking with whey protein is not a good idea. Whey proteins denature when heated, reducing or even eliminating their effectiveness. I'll not go into the scientific jargon, suffice it to say that the best way to consume whey protein is to drink it with cold milk or water, like it says on the container.

  • definitely. i just overcooked one a few seconds ago and it was terrible T.T, literally felt and tasted like a sponge

dont think ill feel too good in a few minutes

1egg 1scoop choc whey 2 tbsb pb and a bit of water cook for 1 min what did i do wrong T-T

  • I like Lee's videos. Keep posting them, I subscribed!

  • what was the recipe again :S

  • so im wondering lee if you used to be a fat kid and got muscular, or used to be a skinny kid and got huge and muscular. O.o jss curious

  • whoa thats crazy! haha

  • aah i overcooked it and its like a sponge haha..

  • Haha! The same thing happened for me!

  • I just used the egg white and 1/2 scoop of protein and 1 scoop peanut butter and it gets the job done since im not trying to bulk about 20 grams protein. not a meal but just a little snack

  • Good stuff! I'm going to try it.

  • I loled @ the light from his microwave :P it's the gate to heaven!

  • man this brownie is good guys just dont put to much peanut butter and just put it in the microwave for 55Sec.. it will be 95% all bake and you'll still have some chocolate sauce on the bottom make it even tastier :P

  • cool!

  • Great work!

    Great videos, man!

  • Lee i loved the nachos...those were great but the brownies ehh not so much kinda needed flavour its like i was eating a flavourless sponge

  • i agree. i just made tastless dog shit

  • lol , did you use chocolate whey protein or just plain protein...

  • it looks like it says WHEY on the tub

  • chocolate whey. dymatize double chocolate elite to be exact

  • One big reason is because microwave kills protein! Thus changing the texture

  • lawlz its not like the protein is alive dude. once the animal it was orignally in is dead the protein is dead too man come on

  • haha!

  • @DreeLulu it doesn't kill protein. heating changes the nature of of protein, more precisely denaturation occurs. However, the biological properties of the protein are still in effect.

  • @rockkilic2 Thank you!

  • Love watchin your vids man, good teachings, you decline tricep workout is the best...

  • lee like the vids keep them coming

    you've helped me alot

  • what kind of desert was that at the end? hahaha 8D

  • Had one the other day lee and they were great!

love all your videos, much respect!

  • Lee i made them yesterday and they were really good. Thanks Lee

  • added a little cinnamon to the mix, but skipped the cool whip. tastes good!

  • this is now my favourite cheat food.

  • the next RACHAL RAY?

  • Lee i love this video because its simple and fast.

Great good :) Im gonna check out that book.

  • to be honest iwth you the batter taste much better than the brownie. its too bland for me. no offense to ya tho, lee

  • the batter can be eatin as a pudding if you add in some splenda and put little more peanut butter.

  • Even though this is a low carb-oh shit... Lol thanks for the recipe Lee

  • Doesn't the micro wave kill the protein??

  • ATTENTION NUMBER 2! ;)

Aski Dr. P. Czerski and W. M. Leach. The Microwave just destorys the salmonellae on the surface of the brownie will be destroyed, but they are still in the insinde of the cookie.

  • TalesFromCrates again, nobody gives a shit about useless facts you fuckin idiot, i drink raw eggs everyday and have never had salmonellae poisoning, people like you who live life in fear are pathetic and make me sick

  • Comment removed

  • you drink every day raw eggs and you say i am a idiot! :D how old are, and most important: whats your education?? ;) i dont think you study sports medicine or a natural science like me, or am i wrong?

but i shut my mouth. i just want to say it, because it could be very dangerous. but if you have a adoniscomplex and take rocky balboas workout for real, than you can like a actionhero. ;)

  • You are right, but i think you are little obssesed

  • Your ability to form sentences in English is pretty horrendous for a PhD holder. I hope you didn't write like this during all of your studies!

  • hahaha

  • good stuff lee

  • an other point , add a tea spoon of baking powder ( 0calorie by the way) and it will really gives the brownie an extra taste

  • if you put it long enough it gives a good chocolate bread!

  • If you do not like peanut butter, what would be a good substitute?

  • peanut butter, don't be a fag.

  • How about some helpful advice, you shit stab.

  • Just man up, eat - and STFU and squat!

  • any other nut butter

  • thanks a lot Lee

  • ATTENTION: salmonellae arent completely destroyed with the microwave!!! its not a safe meal :( sounds good, but you can have a poisoning, which means pain and no training for many week.

  • talesfromthecrates shut the fuck up idiot

  • I'm a Doctor and work for an Institute for Sports Supplements. The reason why I dont load up Video about the truth of muscles buildings, are guys like you. Anyway, I won many Fitness and Bodybuilding Titles, and study medicine. Do what you want.

  • wow man your pretty cool....

  • But Rocky showd me that raw eggsisies are good for me

  • I hope this is a joke! :)

  • - Oh do not microwave any subtance of food. They've confirmed that radiation heat waves particals can inmerg into your food. Can cause damage in the long run and fatal.

    - But if you are choosing to microwave your food then make sure you cover it competely. To block the radioactive waves.

  • that is a good thing when ur cutting :-O.. even tho right now im bulking, its no big ..i,ll eat a boal of oats with it and i got my cytogainer chocolate malt ..:D thanks lee
