  • It is a great video. I have only been there once. Worst day of my life. I fell off Tioga April 5, 2010. I had to be airlifted out and rushed to U of L. Due to the harsh terrain, it took dispatchers 2 hours to get to me. I landed across from the cross. I broke 5 bones in my back and broke my left pelvic bone. I am fine now. I will be returning there to get closure in the near future.

  • @Sarrow67 Wow! Glad you're all healed up. I always wondered what a bad accident way out on a trail would be like. I have a video of a woman being airlifted off of Bear Camp rd. It's a big damn operation even with road access. Maybe you could do a video when you go and tell your story. I sub to a guy called 1puglife who broke his back a year ago doing an RV jump, it's been interesting watching his recovery.

  • Very nice, great ... was wanting to see if the trail and stop would be worth it on the way through. You have convinced me. Thanks for posting.

  • good vid liked the stills...ya'll be careful mr & mrs crokett

  • Wow! Nice little hike indeed. Is that a wooden train tressel in the beginning? Did you find out what the cross was all about? Is that a water proof camera? How far from home is this?
