(and I'm not saying that because I'm french, 'm saying that because it's like that. When I watch an english or a german broadcast I'm not like "oh those english/german people they never put any subtitles on their videos !" I just try to understand). Maybe you were just like, joking, but apparently I didn't get it.

Hahaha yeah i got it after watching the video entirely. I shouldn't have reacted like that : I didn't realize that they traduced directly over Alex & Miles' voices, which is really annoying indeed. I apologize, I commented without really thinking of it before, which kind of sucks :) (I just read another comment underlining the fact that it's a live show so they couldn't really do anything else in fact, but it's really sad coz british accent is very nice haha).

But I do agree with you that french people are trying to learn English. But here in Belgium (Flanders) and I believe in Holland as well, journalists always speak the language of the person being interviewed, that's probably why it's so weird for her that they don't do the same in France.

everyone should learn to speak different languages. neither the english speakers nor the french should be an exception. and at least the english speakers (usually) feel like they should too, when the french are just arrogant to the point that they don't want to learn a new language, especially english.
