  • Ears...

  • Skip to 3:37 to hear the drums actually being played... for 20 seconds.

  • shut up and play it already

  • Can you tune the drums on the module?

  • hi it asshole!!! bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla.

  • How long has it been since Alesis released the DM10? Alesis makes a big deal about being able to load soundsets..... but to this date (Nov. 2011) they've only made one (Blue Jays) soundset available.

  • these drums sound like shit

  • are the Cymbals Rods Strong? I have A electric Drum but the Cymbal Rod broke?

  • Is there a double bass setting on this model? And if not, would a double bass pedal for an acoustic set work the same?

  • @135288 Aye, using an IC power glide on it atm, no problems fitting.

  • 0:50 - 1:20 i knew it. travis barker sends his clones to check out namm

  • CHECK OUT MY DM10 PRO VIDS

  • What ?all the talking about this thing for 4 min and then hearing NOTHING at all ??Awesome wow what a demo Alesis should take this video OFF youtube

  • 32 seconds of bollocks.

  • mlpa mlpa mlpa .......no sound??????????????

  • what is the song that sounds from the 0:12?? i need please

  • At 2:31 He almost lets slip mesh heads... oops. He knows there better!

  • @fashs HAHAHAHA!!!

  • @fashs what do you mean mesh heads are better? What drum pads are on the alesis DmM10

  • Too bad the amp wasn't turned up.

  • ANYBODY THAT WANTS AN HD SOUND DEMO CHECK MY CHANNEL

  • This is SOOO far away from the best e-drum kit around.

    Compare for yourself to this-->

    watch?v=YpjZWujoTDY&feature=related

It´s a new kit, 2BOX DRUMIT 5, with totally new sound architecture (alternating samples) that previously only could be found on drum plugins such as Superior Drummer 2.0 and BFD. It´s created by the guy behind Ddrum that pioneered e-drumming years ago...

Just got mine as you can see, and I love it!!

  • The kidd to your left at 3:31 rapes you !

  • is it possible to set the hi hat pedal to act like a double bass pedal?

  • Does he even have this plugged into an amp? I think I grossly misunderstood what the DM10 even IS; apparently they're a set of practice pads.

  • I'm pretty sure you can, but just wanna check. Can you set one of those floor toms as a cymbal? I want to buy this for practice to mimick my kit I use for my band. I'm thinking, to make it as close as possible to my acoustic, I would need to:

    1. Make the right rack tom the ride cymbal.

    2. Make the orignally designated ride cymbal, actually a 2nd crash cymbal.

    3. Make the rightmost cymbal pad a china cymbal

    4. Make one of the floor toms a splash cymbal

Will I be able to do all this?

  • @olsalesd You will be able to do that with this kit :D

  • you cant even hear the drums when he plays and he plays like a homo...

  • @Huitzel cant if you live in a apartment dumbshit

  • @Huitzel last time I checked you can get electric drums and still be straight :)

  • @Huitzel yikes what you got against electric kits? I have over an acoustic kit that cost me over $5000 dollars so I am deffinatly one to understand how much better acoustic kits are, but I cant have those in my dorm, so I am deffinatly picking up an electric kit, and I am certain that doesn't make me gay, its just something any passionate drummer who has limitations such as living in an apartment or dorm, does to be able to continue drumming!

  • TOOOO much talk! Bad audio.

  • This kit is awful. Play on pots and pans instead.

  • "Keep some of the things people love about the DM5"... but not go with a rackmount module so it's a pain in the ass for people not using your entire kit to use.

  • its the pie-fucker playing drums!

  • GOD THIS GUY IS IN EVERY VIDEO FOR THIS SET

  • Dan keeps looking at the camera, nervously

  • Their promos involve too much talk and not enough drum action. This is poor advertising!

How can I make a decision based on talk?

I want to hear someone actually beat their heart out. Otherwise, they have nothing to recommend them!

Poor. Really poor demos; and a waste of time!

  • it would be very usefull if the guy would play more

  • @argeliob it would useful if we could hear him too!

  • lol the American Pie guy! :-P

  • I like to call people like that awkward-fat. Not quite a lardass but not trim. It just looks awkward like it doesn't match his face.

  • this is a separate video, look at 3:02, he teleported, right before the hobo came

  • he looks like jim from american pie when he plays drums

  • @stevenjw2006 LMFAO

  • @stevenjw2006 RLMAO

  • LOL at 3:05. That's just hilarious, the guy in the background looks like a hobo.

  • @gamekidillon12 hahaha!!

  • @gamekidillon12 That's my dad; he's a billionaire and a genius, so stfu.

  • @gamekidillon12 it's the guy with the god given voice :D

  • @gamekidillon12 Hey! thats my dad):

  • @gamekidillon12 Hobos Rock

  • Comment removed

  • lol that guy playing the drums isnt very good with time

  • I bet even without the noise and stuff,it will STILL sound like crap, hahaha! sorry Alesis,Roland beats you here-)) lol

  • @bobby2spiderfingers

    Didn't know Roland had fanboys.

But Look at you, you should go make a fanclub. And i have a roland, love it really, but there is a kit that sounds much better than any roland, the 2box kit. Jezus that thing sounds sweet. Go look it up.

  • yup,saw 2box kit too. Surprisingly amazing drum kit I agree. But on sreiously,I'm not a "fan-boy" or "fan-club" of Roland,it's just my opinion-) Happy drumming)

  • yeah you are right roland does beat alesis but how much does a roland kit cost and how much for an alesis kit ?

  • I dunno how much Alesis kits costs. But honestly, what matters is the sound quality, and the outcome of your music. Even if you have all these great and expensive gears,STILL,bottom-line is ,making good music out of whatever gear is at your hand.-) Peace 2 everyone-)

  • i agree

  • @socrati007 This is about the same price as a TD-4, without the surge cymbals, and with rubber, instead (like the TD-4 has) its cheaper.

  • @JamesTheWench the DM10 Studio is $500 cheaper

  • That's a not-so-good mix at the end. It would be nice to actually hear the sounds isolated without all the external cacophony. Granted, you can always replace those with other kits (thank you Alesis for thinking outside the box - no pun), but it would be nice to hear them anyway.
