@AznGamingNation1140 Well that would've been nice but Episode 3 still had a fair number of problems to say the least. The sub par writing and some of the rushed plot points were among them. But yeah if the first two were at least as good as this then the prequels wouldn't be so lambasted. But still they all could've been as good as the original trilogy if Lucas didn't control everything

Bane destroyed the entire sith army through cunning, strength and true knowledge of the darkside. Vader sucks in comparison.
@largel16 but that is the tragedy of his character in star wars and it is greatly played out. he becomes a powerful sith, he burns at the hands of a jedi and becomes even more powerful with his robotic body, then he is on the path to becoming the most powerful sith of all time but before he can do it, he learns that his son has joined the jedi order and his son finally turns him to the light side. its the perfect tragedy.
Ok.. I'm just gonna come right out and say it.. The first three star wars movies (episode 4,5 and 6) sucked balls.. There is like a cool kid culture among a lot of people old enough to watch the original three to denounce the new three as crap and just about getting extra money blah blah while wearing their huge rose tinted glasses. But this video shows just how epic they were. Not just the fighting scenes but everything. The story line was and is so much better.
@SatoriWins the cinematography is 10x better in episode 1-3, but the story and characters are what makes 4-6, you have to get over the shitty special effects and look of the movie to really appreciate it.

Can't remember who said it but the first 3 films should have been ALL these two, about how they lived and fought together. This fight could have been such a saddening battle but as it is it's a kinda cool saddish moment. Imagine if we were truly invested in them as the closest of friends...

This was the battle I was waiting for as a Star Wars fan. The real battle between Vader and Obi-Wan. Not that 30 sec charade on the Death Star. If there was one good thing to come out of the Prequels it was Vader vs Obi-Wan

You spend 20 years training a sith, filling him with hate to kill you then you kill him in a final duel and have to start all over with a new apprentice, how did they last so long to over take the republic? How did palpatine kill his master in his sleep? jedi have a sense of danger and many books have them waking when someone so much as pulls a knife. it doesnt matter i guess, just sit back and watch the awesome show.
my friend anakin didn't need to have the eyes to be on the darkside, he nearly force choked padme to death which was a foreshadow to why you don't fail him. He wanted to the darkside to rule and padme refused to go along with the plan so he had no intention on going back to the lightside ever

He was like a brother for Obi-Wan, so i would imagine if i was in the same situation i would've mercy killed him. The smart thing to do by Lucas would have been that they got separated and there was no way that Obi-Wan could get to Anakin to mercy kill him. And i mean so far away so that Obi could not force push him into the lava.
@olikformad Obi Wan presumes him dead after the burning, which is why he doesn't do anything. Palpatine's ability to manipulate midichlorians is the reason that Anakin remains alive :)

well some of it could have been sidious but all players were a part of this from PADME to the JEDI order. All had something to do with this battle between sith and jedi.
I love how Anakin worked so hard to be that evil and thought that no one could take him out and then Obi-Wan just walks in and is like, "Okay let me kill this guy" and then walks off and delivers/hides twins.
How did vader get his revenge when obi-wan becaem one with the force and set luke on his way to meet his father. Obi -wan beat Vader again by reconnecting him with his son LUKE SKYWALKER
obi-wan became one with the force so vader didn't get any revenge because that was not the goal. The goal was to set luke on his path to his and obi-wan could not do that with himself in the way.
This is easily the best duel in the whole Prequel trilogy because it had the most emotional depth. All the other fights in the prequel trilogy were your standard "good guy vs. bad guy," fights, but here we have a teacher vs. a student, a friend vs. a friend, and, to use Obi-Wan's words, a brother vs. a brother. Emotional depth is ALWAYS what makes a fight memorable.

vaders lightsaber form was form 5 (shien) which relies of brute strength, it is an offshoot of form 3(soresu) whish is a purely defense form and relies little to no footwork. also, darth vader relies of implementing form 6's force powers during battle heavily. his style may seem slow and weak but its actually just using his brute strength and power of the force.
@superFrontrunner darth maul on the other hand, uses form 7 (juyo which combines the extreme acrobatics of form 4 (ataru) with the brute strength of form 5 (shien), as well as implementing a constant hatred towards their opponent. So i can see why you would think darth maul is a better fighter, just just jumps around a lot more. Im going to go on a whim here an say, darth vader could kill two darth mauls at the same time

Maul can use the force as well he just doesn't need to rely on it like Vader does cos vader can't move fast enough whereas Maul is here there and everywhere owning 2 opponents at once while vader can't beat an old man.

This is easily the best duel in the whole Prequel trilogy because it had the most emotional depth. All the other fights in the prequel trilogy were your standard "good guy vs. bad guy," fights, but here we have a teacher vs. a student, a friend vs. a friend, and, to use Obi-Wan's words, a brother vs. a brother. Emotional depth is ALWAYS what makes a fight memorable.

vaders lightsaber form was form 5 (shien) which relies of brute strength, it is an offshoot of form 3(soresu) whish is a purely defense form and relies little to no footwork. also, darth vader relies of implementing form 6's force powers during battle heavily. his style may seem slow and weak but its actually just using his brute strength and power of the force.

@superFrontrunner darth maul on the other hand, uses form 7 (juyo which combines the extreme acrobatics of form 4 (ataru) with the brute strength of form 5 (shien), as well as implementing a constant hatred towards their opponent. So i can see why you would think darth maul is a better fighter, just just jumps around a lot more. Im going to go on a whim here an say, darth vader could kill two darth mauls at the same time

@DUDEABIDES001 fancy made up words can't disguise the fact that being slow and frankly clumsy does not make one a better dueler. Maul can use the force as well he just doesn't need to rely on it like Vader does cos vader can't move fast enough whereas Maul is here there and everywhere owning 2 opponents at once while vader can't beat an old man.
Vader against 2 mauls? Unless they were tranqualised he'd have his right hand cut off again before he knew what was happening
