I have one word for AMD...vaporware. On another note, I do not understand all these Intel lifers who are cheering for AMD's downfall. Apparently they like the idea of a monopoly that over charges/nickel and dimes its customers. We have begun to see this overpricing trickle effect with Wolfdale and Yorkfield. On server-based levels, Barcelona does outlast a Xeon. Note the keyword: server. It's not for games, it's not for email, it's for servers. Doing calculations is how Barcelona wins slightly. n00b, they aren't using 2 chips to make 4 cores, they are each 4 cores. Plus the AMD infrastructure is much nicer than Intel's. Each core can run independently, and has its own RAM set, instead of flooding all the power to either the Northbridge or Southbridge and using the RAM at the I/O controller. AMD does run with more power, but it makes more sense.

They just demoed Barcelona desktop (Phenom) today at 3.0ghz which means that there is no problems with it (remember all the reports that they couldn't get it above 2.2ghz?) Unfortunately they showed no benchmarks but journalists got to play around in some games. AMD is back baby!
