  • @ImLDSRU2 Do you really think that scripture in Acts is talking about Js? It is referring to Jesus Christ! Moses is talking about Jesus, the great prophet! Read Rev. 19:20

  • Great video. I am very glad that God got a hold of my life, and pulled me out of Mormonism into a relationship with Him. God is infinitely more amazing and awesome than the worthless, helpless man idols Mormonism offers. Numbers 23:19 Isaiah 43:10,11 44:6-8,24 John 3:18,36.

  • Sweet but totally addictive personality.

  • This is not a testimony, this is a confession of lack of discipline, committment and rebellion, and a weekness of the flesh. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints is the only true church upon this earth, only through sincerity with a real intent to learn and know of these things, will you get a confirmation through the the promptings of the holy ghost. I encourage you to try again with sincerity and a real intent, in the name of jesus christ amen.

  • @alayche02 You are right.

  • @alayche02 The Mormon Church is not of Christ Jesus. Just because someone creates there own version of The Messiah and calls his name Jesus doesn't mean that it really is Jesus. The only true Jesus is the one of the Holy Bible. Joseph Smith is a false prophet, a conman, and a satanic occultist whom was a free-mason. Nothing in the book of mormon can be backed up, in fact it all has been refuted according to archeology, sociology, and anthropology. Turn to the true Lord, and away from Smith's.

  • @underground0331 You are incorrect. The Mormon Church did not "create" Jesus. The Holy Bible is not the only source of truth in the world. Joseph Smith was a true Prophet. Plenty in the Book of Mormon can be backed up. None of it has been refuted.

    You have been badly misinformed.

  • @ImLDSRU2 Shows how much you know. So the word of God is not the only source of truth in the world? That's what you're saying? So you would rather believe some 15 year old kid and what he saw over the inspired word of God? You really are blind and ignorant. Why don't you ask God to open your eyes to His truth and not some conman's crazy ideas. Btw, what makes ur religion any different than Islam? There is 0% evidence of the things talked about in the book of mormon, Its been proven.

  • @ImLDSRU2 And im sorry but it u who has been misinformed. mormonism isnt even Christianity. U guys believe in many gods, u believe Jesus and satan r brothers, u believe that u will one day become gods, u believe that God the Father wasn't always God, but at some point He became God, u believe Jesus was born in Jerusalem and many more and all are directly contrary to the Bible. What kind of blasphemy r u guys learning? Really? U should read the Bible, and stop following some freemasonry psycho!

  • @underground0331 You are wrong about the beliefs of Latter-day Saints.

Here's a hint: Instead of telling other people what they believe, why not ask them? They will, of course, be experts in what they believe, more than you will be.

  • @ImLDSRU2 Okay, we can play it your way, what do you believe?...and I mean everything. Do not leave anything out.

  • @underground0331 You are being silly -- asking for books of information to be typed in here.

  • @ImLDSRU2 I don't think I am being unreasonable. Here I'll tell you what real Christianity is. To believe on Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. To believe every word uttered from the mouth of God Almighty through His written word, The Bible. That's it, Christianity summed up. You said "books of information." That's the problem with yours and all other religions, is that they let it become a religion, it is no longer a relationship.

  • @ImLDSRU2 Read Matthew 7:21-23. also read Galatians 1:6-9. You're book of Mormon pertains to that other Gospel that Paul is talking about to the Church of Galatia.

  • @underground0331 you obviously have a gripe, chip on your head, my comments are toward the video, I suggest you do likewise. jesus said he who is without sin cast the first stone. practise what you preach. be careful its not the bible nor the book of mormon that matters but the actions we take upon the commandments within them. 1. love the lord with all..... and 2. love thy neighbour as.... which is the first and second commandments. There is (NONE) greater than these. ST MARK 12:29,31 Regards.

  • @alayche02 My problem is not with you personally, my problem is with false doctrine. My problem is with satan subtly lying to God's children, and so many people giving into that lie. No where in the Bible does it say that another prophet would come testifying of Jesus Christ. What is canonized in the Bible today is the Holy written word. Everything else, including Smith's interpretation is no different than gnosticism, and paganism. I suggest that you turn away from your pagan beliefs, thats all

  • Its a good thing that she is out of the Lord's Church.

  • @ImLDSRU2 You mean the mormon cult?

  • God had called her to the Christian Church. God was helping her like He does to us all. We just have to listen. I never knew about the racisim till now. It makes sense. How can anyone believe in such a a book that teaches such things? And I do believe beware of the wolves in sheeps clothing...beware of false prophets and it all of it is in the bible.

  • God had called her to the Christian Church. God was helping her like He does to us all. We just have to listen.

  • what about the part of the mormon bible that says black skin is a evil spawn from satan. what about mormons being so nice? they are the nicest people in the whole world....jesus said beware of the wolves in sheeps clothing....he was talking about the white garments.

  • People leave churches all the time for different reasons. I don't think any church can retain 100% of their faithful. Some people are actually better off away from certain churches.

  • let the Cossacks whip them all....heretics have no place in the Church, enuff of this pc "everything goes"

  • amen praise God!!!! the truth set u FREE!!! :) if you enjoy hearing Testimonies, drop by my page and check out mine, it can be found in my Scotty Bee Videos :)

  • It's easy to talk yourself out of the LDS faith. For starters you get Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays off. You also get a 10% pay increase.

  • These mórmons would have to show the polygamy cases that last until today, care with these disfarçados wolves of sheep. It knows the history of them in the book: FOR the FLAG OF the PARADISE author: Jon Krakauer - publishing company: Company of the letters - It is literature stronger than already I read, you will be made an impression with the stories in this book.

  • “But even if we or an angel from heaven (moroni) should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you, curse be on him!” Galatians 1:6-9 Mormon’s are not prepared for the coming apocalypse, Huge Sorrow will be to the mormon who refuse to see the truth, You have been warned your fall will be great. Read the BIBLE ONLY!

  • @imationqwest Yes we're ready for the apocalypse. We teach the truth. The Bible even doesn't say to read the Bible only.

  • hmmm This testimony was "i lived in provo, my dad died, I felt bad and insecure about what people thought of me, i got pregnant at 17, i got divorced, i felt like a failure, i was rebellious, i never had a testimony of God, i struggled with faith, i went to counseling that required me to 'accept Christ', so I accepted Christ, I started seeking Christ, I went to christian churches, I went back to lds church and didnt like the lesson on being a good wife, started dating a gue joined his church.

  • I think its great that her life has changed, but a true testimony of truth comes from God through the power of his spirit. A testimony of how bad my life was and how I was rebellious and felt misunderstood, but later got married to someone and joined his church and oh by the way, I still misunderstand and resent my old church doesnt qualify as a witness of truth that God lives or the Atonement of Christ.

  • @troybank That seems to be it. If someone's life is crappy they blame it on the Lord's church.

  • @majinish, I use to be a mormon. And I left and became christian by using common sense.

  • @Nashhinton I'm a Mormon so I'm a Christian. I do know the church is true. There's no way I would turn my back on God like you have.

  • @majinish, Only christians worship Jesus. Youre not a christian.

  • @Nashhinton Yea, I'm a christian. We LDS are christians. We are LDS-Christians. We worship Jesus Christ.

  • @majinish calling your church true is pretty arrogant. the true church is Gods people who accept Jesus through faith in his grace. Its all about his grace. Not some relgion or denomination.

  • @shvibzik123 Calling it true is truth, not arrogant. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth. It is Jesus Christ's church.

  • @majinish i could say the same thing. that my church is the one true church. Jospeh Smith boasted that he is better than Jesus because he created a church that he said kept together & that jesus couldnt even do that. That isnt something that should be coming out of the mouth of a true prophet. But since then the church has split into many groups & now there are 220+ splinter groups that follow joseph Smiths teaching and every single one of them claim to be "the one true church."

  • @shvibzik123 Read the Bible. Christ said it himself there would be people that would be followers of Christ and do greater works than what Christ did. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints isn't something I'm just saying. It's something that's a fact.

  • @majinish Oh i do read the bible. You should read it more too. Christ did say that we will do greater works but not on our own. ONLY if we ask in his name will we do it. Without him we cant do anything so no boasting. This isnt about us or our exaltation. Its all about him. How is it a fact? Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel (Moroni) from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! I wonder what Joseph was really doing in the garden

  • @shvibzik123 Galatians 1:8 doesn't apply to Moroni. Galatians says "other" gospel. Moroni did not preach another gospel. He told Joseph Smith of the golden plates, now the Book of Mormon, which contain the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ (Revelation 14:6). Again, Galatians 1:8 doesn't speak of Moroni or the golden plates. They're spoken of in Rev. 14:6.

  • @majinish Galations 1:8 does speak about moroni. you still beleive that God is an exalted man? again that isnt bibleical either. not only does the book of mormon contradict the bible, it also contradicts itself. and if the book of mormon is so true why did it have so many changes? your gospel is always on the move. i dont know what jesus and god mormons worship but its defiantely not the jesus and god of the people. the God of hte bible was God from eternity to eternity, not an exalted man.

  • @majinish i meant mormonism teaches that christs death isnt enough for murder to be forgiven, my bad. didnt notice i missed that in there.

  • @shvibzik123 Joseph Smith went to the grove to pray and ask what church to join and he got his answer. All churches at the time were wrong and Christ's church wasn't on the earth yet. Now it is. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ's church. I read the Bible quite often. The only thing the Bible does for the Book of Mormon is support it and prove it's true.

  • @majinish You need to read more about Joseph Smith and as for the bible proving the book of mormon true, you couldnt be more wrong. Maybe you read the book of mormon as your truth and then try to find scripture in the bible that is similar. but if you take the bible and the book of mormon and read them both from beginning to end, you will see that the book of mormon completely contradicts the bible.

  • @shvibzik123 Actually I'm pretty right. I've read the Bible and Book of Mormon both and there are no contradictions. If you think so that's your problem but no contradictions exist.

  • @majinish your the first person ive heard that said that. even many mormons notice differences. what have you been reading? if you beleive that not all of your sins can be forgiven, if you believe that you can work your way up to heaven, instead of by grace, or if God was once man and has sinned like the rest of us, well that isnt biblical. And so many other doctrines that your church teaches. I dont know what youve been reading.

  • @shvibzik123 I've been reading the Bible and Book of Mormon. I understand what I read which is how I know what they teach. "If you believe not all sins can be forgiven" blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is an unforgivable sin as stated in the Bible. I know we're saved by grace through faith but you forget we'll be judged by our works. "that isnt biblical" I recall the Bible saying we'll be partakers in divine nature. How do you know that doesn't apply to God? I know what is truth. You speak none.

  • @majinish All sins can be forgiven except for 3. but mormonism teaches that sin cant be forgiven and the bible says otherwise. of course we'll also be judged by our works but its faith + salvation that makes good works, not faith + good works = salvation. we will inherit Gods kingdom but that wont ,make us gods. He is the only God and there was none before him and no one after him. as it says in the bible. "I know what is truth. You speak none." intersting. i wonder.

  • @majinish "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ's church." I know you earnestly believe that but you're wrong. You've be lied to by your church. God will forgive you if you seek the truth and repent. But you need to know that Joseph Smith was a false prophet. And you need to know that the Book of Mormon is false and doesn't come from God. Pray for a "relationship," like this lady says.

  • @jrock2264 "I know you earnestly believe that but you're wrong. You've be lied to by your church." No, I'm not wrong and I haven't been lied to. "God will forgive you if you seek the truth and repent." Forgive me for what? Being a member of His church? Being part of His church is something I'm not sorry for. "But you need to know that Joseph Smith was a false prophet." He was a true prophet of God.

  • @majinish The book of Mormon contradicts the Bible so both can't be true. Look outside for truth. I know you think you're right....but how can EVERYBODY else be wrong except for Mormons? Christ is not just my savior, he is God. He wasn't created, he's not a prophet. He IS God. I have nothing to prove to you. But I care that you don't truth. Talk to somebody outside of the church. Your eyes will opened. God is calling you out of the Mormon church. Listen to Him.

  • @jrock2264 "God is calling you out of the Mormon church. Listen to Him." That's you telling me I should leave Jesus Christ's church, not God. Anyway, I'm leaving for my mission tomorrow and will be bringing people into the church of Jesus Christ. May Jesus Christ soften your heart so you will eventually, hopefully, believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • @jrock2264 "And you need to know that the Book of Mormon is false and doesn't come from God." Jrock, the Book of Mormon, along with the Bible, is the word of God. I won't deny scripture inspired by God. The Book of Mormon teaches the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ (Revelation 14:6). "Pray for a "relationship," " I already have a relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ. I hope you find Jesus Christ sometime and accept him as your Savior like we LDS do.

  • @majinish So you say. As you grow up and mature you may find the truth. I hope you do. Christ is my saviour. But I dont' have to do missions, blood oaths, wear holy undewear, pray for the dead. I'm saved by grace. Mormons don't understand grace. Mormons say they are "saved" but it doesn't mean the same thing in the LDS church. The Gospel is the "good news," and that news is that God accepts you if you just as you are, no works or strange rituals..

  • @Nashhinton I'am exmormon hear hear

  • @woodcchuck2020 its "here, here".

  • You'd think that after all of that bullshit, she'd come to realize that religion isn't real...People are eternally stupid, and churches get rich because of it...It's funny!

  • @Valkonnen Exactly! These videos are so entertaining! They talk about leaving one moronic religion, only to jump right back into an equally moronic religion. Kudos to them!

  • Unfortunately when you leave the Church or "rebel" against it, things such as chastity is broken, young girls getting pregnant and infidelity after marriage causing divorces.

Oh, by the way, thats all I hear on Sunday is "having a relationship with the Lord" haha.

  • shes guilty and hiding a sin....smiles

  • Blessings!!

  • i know that Tara will realize the truth later.but it is not too late go repent and pray tara that you will be saved in the last days...

  • Mormons believe that jesus is satans brother.

  • @alyssaashleymatthews lol i fuckin know right?! have you ever heard of a more retarded notion?!

  • I feel sad for you!! hope one day you come to your senses!!!

  • That is so sad, Many LDS families do not have males in their home. They are not shunned or treated any differently. She seemed to just put those ideas in her own head. Many people just can't understand the LDS church because they only can think of themselves and their life. This lady really seems interested in her own life so much that it's not surprising that she would leave the LDS church.

  • @IndigoCharlie I couldn't have said it better myself!

  • so glad to hear of your conversion sister. I am so glad you are a sister in Christ.

  • Mormon Testiphony:

    Colossians 2:16-23

  • great video you were never really involved in the church,i hope that you found peace in religion, but really involve yourself in the church, learn and practice the gospel principles.

  • Great video.

Folks, please ignore MarcoPolo and those like him. He wanders around, screaming at people about how "true" his church is (it's a cult) but he'll never stop. And why should he? I've never met anyone in a cult who realizes they are in a cult. It's like trying to convince a fish he's in the ocean. He's so surrounded by it he can't see outside of it.

Ignore him and don't engage w/ him. He'll waste your time w/ lame arguments stolen from FAIR or Farms or some manual.

  • There's no original thought there at all.

Bottom line: active LDS that come to fight w/ people on the internet are nowhere near ready to hear the truth. They will defend what they "know" (funny, didn't Jesus reward *faith*?) b/c they NEED it to be true. The evidence out there is astounding and leaves no question that LDS is false. They are UNABLE to see it. Don't waste your time.

  • @JAMaddict :)

  • @JAMaddict MarcoPolo ? Yah he loves to act like he really has something that people really need in his phony MORmON religion. Just tell him right up front.

You have nothing for me! You have NOTHING I want, NOTHING I need. NOTHING worthy of any respect or credence. Keep your NOTHING to yourself, Marco.

  • Glory Hallelujah!

  • out of the frying pan into the fire! wake up and take control of your life! throw off your shackles of belief!

  • @LacyLola: You mean accept the belief of naturalism?

  • I couldn't agree more. I threw off my shackles at 15. Life is splendid without belief

  • @douchenozzle77 Are you serious? Obviously you don't understand what freedom is. With no belief you are in bondage more than you know. You will find that out soon enough.

  • True freedom comes only from Jesus Christ but which Jesus do you preach? Who is God? Or how do we obtain Salvation? You believe in many gods! Fact is, that's a DIRECT contradiction to the Bible. The Bible states very clearly that there is only 1 God! Read Deut 4:35, 4:39, 6:4, 32:39; Isaiah 43:10, 44:6, 44:8, 45:5, 45:14, 45:18, 45:21. And the list goes on and on. Read your Bible! Keep your mind open. Read Matthew 7:13-20 and learn from God NOT from man. Stop praying for the Fake Mormon book.

  • You are so right:

    Mosiah 3, Verse 17

    Mosiah 5, Verse 8

    and

    Moroni 10 Verse 4 to 8.

BTW: We pray to Heavenly Father, not for the Book of Mormon.

  • @Sosabrothers777 "True freedom comes only from Jesus Christ"

and MORmONISM is a brand of punishment & imprisonment that

can knock people out of their sandals & suck the life right out of them!

  • I'd hate to believe in the fraud of Joseph Smith.

  • then don't, and you won't enter into your exaltation, and the righteous will reign over you

  • @obrienr

its a TERRIBLE way to live.

    trust me.

  • @obrienr

    HE is NO fraud>>>>>>>.

  • this girl sounds like she has so many problems over her life finding out the truth.... alma said try the seed and let it grow and it will grow in you

  • She gives her testimony of herself! Not her former religion. She fully admits she was never in it, and only a child. Sounds like she went twice.

A "loose cannon" comes to mind. Wait for the follow up visit, she'll be something else soon.

  • ahmagad, like totally finding the lord, or whatever

  • She only knew 1 Christian? Tara, you knew many-the people at church growing up. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ and worships him as their savior is a Christian.

  • Well not really Jesus warned us of false prophets and false Christ's and a different gospel.

  • @truthbeknowen Yes, He did. It's somewhere in Matt. 24. Forgot the verse.

  • a journey out would be making a conscious decision to leave. being kicked out is quite different now isn't it. I feel for this woman she sounds like shes got a heck of alot of problems going on. Takes alot of strength to go in front of millions and show what a mess you are. But if you don't want to change. Then the born again church is definitely for you. They take you as you are and prey on your weaknesses instead of support you with them.

  • she got pregnant and got kicked out

  • well if you dont want to follow the commandments the only choice you have is born again Christianity. If you still want to believe in God. Its got to be rough only having halve the gospel once youve had it all

  • Sweetheart you're no better than anyone else, you're just a sinner that needs to be saved by grace, and if your not, you're DECEIVED as well. Jesus Christ died for the sick, and the unrighteous.

  • why do mormons look like witches?

  • They don't

  • Theyre all crazy. every last one of them clean livered little bastards

  • She speaks the truth. Jesus created all things. He was never anyones spirit brother. He is infinite, men are not.

All of this can be found in the correctly translated word of God.

  • show me the reference please? i'd be interested in seeing that... really i would.

  • Jesus, the creator.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

    Are you free?

Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

    Mormons are in bondage.

  • Praise God and Christ Jesus you left the lies of the cult of mormon and the false religion that it is.

  • It's obvious by her comments that she was never really ACTIVE in the church. i.e. - She admits that she heard about Christ's death but "never understood" obviously this was taught in the LDS church..then later contradicts she never heard Jesus mentioned in the LDS church... the common thing I keep hearing is she seems to take pride in being rebellious..she can't seem to stay in one faith.. she will eventually leave false christianity as she did all the others..she is an unrealiable person.

  • Rebellious?...Unrealiable?..oh my, you are an arrogant individual. Mormonism is not christian, it is a cult. What you call 'pride', I would call honesty. Mormons are not honest..hiding behind their church idolatry. The one TRUE FAITH IS IN JESUS CHRIST. Mormonism is rooted in free masonry and thet occult. If I were you, I'd study up on your church history and who Joseph Smith really was.

  • This woman may be honest with HER experience, but she is not reliable...period..her life is a good example of this. She condems herself by her very words. I did not put those words in her mouth..I am merely extrapolating an observation. Funny how you point your finger at me and judge me ..as you are gulity of the same judgement you mete out in this very comment of yours...lol.

Your brand of false christianity will come to an end and then you and your kind will wish you weren't so foolish.

  • imtherealthing: your own words condemn you. I wish you Jesus. Again, you are truly Mormon...sad.

  • i have studied the churches history. i know about freemasonry. i know about polygamy and polyandry. i know about the seer stones and all the weird stuff in church history. but all that stuff doesn't change how i feel about the church. i'd encourage you to really search for the truth, and get both sides of the facts before you attack a religion.

and don't say that Mormons don't believe in the true and living Christ. that's absolutely not true.

  • sambalina555: Of course you 'believe' in the true and living Christ...so does the DEVIL..He is well aware of Jesus. The truth is found in the WORD of GOD. The Old/New Testament. The BOM is heresy and you are involved in a cult. I pray you get free and find Jesus today.

  • i have found Jesus. i've felt the burden lifted from my shoulders as i forsake my sins. i've felt his love when i've been down, and felt like no one was there for me. i know that I know Jesus. i've read the words of God in the Bible, AND in the Book of Mormon, and found them both to be very edifying. the "cult" i'm involved in has led me to know the Savior Jesus Christ. I'm glad you know Him too, that's great!

  • Young one!

Listen to the word of God.

Galation 1:6 ¶ I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

The truth is that "God" forgives all sin, "wipes it away". In Mormonism, God will never forgive your sins unless you join the church and start paying him back for his sacrifice.

LDS members worship the church, praise and exhalt men.

Do not trust men. Trust God and his word.

  • ugh why do stupid ppl come on here and talk trash on the mormons. Dont like them? Then dont watch the videos!

  • religion =cult

  • Just listen to her. Is she really a mormon? Did she really keep true to the faith? Did she really love God? Sounds like she been lost a long time.

  • If it makes her feel better by doing this, so be it. Now with her new belief system she can sin and still feel good.

  • Wowm subalphalf, you seem very harsh toward this woman. Town whore? wow! Have you read in the bible how Jesus treated people?

  • You may want to think that and hurl insults at this woman. But she has seen the Light. Praise Jesus!!

  • This is how idiots like you characterize anyone who exercises that concept of free agency that you claim to be so important. For the record, I've personally met Tara here in Dallas. She loves her husband and is far from a slut. Shame on you!

  • Yes, you can express your free agency, that is why I'm expressing my free agency and making fun of her because she let some fuckin dude jizz inside her at 17.. it's called birth control.. she probably said "I'll show those assholes at church! I'll get pregnant! that will show them!" These Mormon girls love the cock.. When they break free, God, they break free.. they go all out.. Utah is great.

  • Actually, I would have to agree.. Got pregnant, THEN got married.. Not necessarily a skank, although she is a dumbass.. It's those naive Utah bitches, where they grow up Mormon, and they rebel and let some dude jizz inside them and think it's all fairy tales and barbie wonderland.. Oooo I can have a baby! Obviously she isn't good at "keeping the list".. Obviously she can't stay committed to anything or take responsibility, hence the pregnancy, divorce, quitting Christianity, etc.

  • This woman clearly cannot take responsibility for herself. She is the type that screwed up, received a consequence for her action and turned against the church. It is incredibly embarrassing to project all self-hatred and attempt to place it on the shoulders of a church.

    She needs to find Christ.

  • subalphalf: You are a fine example of 'mormon'. You ought be embarrassed by your cruel, vile statement. Yes, you are mormon all right...

  • My statement was pointed. Although I still agree with the words that I said, I do understand that there was a more tactful way that I could have stated the obvious.

  • She did find Jesus. You found Mormonism.

  • She admits that by 17 she was getting it on out of wedlock..

  • Um yeah, so did the samaritain woman at the well. What did Jesus say to her when He asked her where was her husband.

  • You NEVER see someone leave the LDS Church while being dilligent in keeping the commandments or who isn't struggling with some emotional instability..

  • CORRECTION: You never see someone leave the LDS church until some emotional instability or realization that they are a sinner forces them to pull their head out of their asses and depend totally on the LORD, not doing works for the praise of men.

  • blackblade789 The word is repent not what you have written. Repent and believe the gospel.

  • greg0rius said:

"You NEVER see someone leave the LDS Church while being dilligent in keeping the commandments or who isn't struggling with some emotional instability"

because u R brainwashed more & more into false belief, blind uR self w/ works so u don't have time 2 see the truth

    Jesus= YHWH saves=Yeshua

  • the whole faith alone doctrine is false. BTW, the only place in the bible to mention "faith only' shows that personal responsibility is part of being a believer - that is more than faith alone.

  • this statement is full of crap. many people when exposed to the facts of things like the so-called book of abraham realize that their church has been lying to them their whole lives and leave.

  • i wonder why all these mormon ppl watch these videos and keep commenting. if you are a happy LDS you dont even need to bother checking them out. if you are unhappy be openminded and dont keep arguing.

  • THANK YOU

  • I absolutely love the Mormons! They were the only church I knew that actually rolled up their sleeves and donated tons of food, cash, water, time and love for so many people after Hurricane Katrina. The difference between those who claim to be Christian and the Mormons is that Mormons, instead of offering just kind words, they offer kind deeds. Wonderful people!

  • Yeah they are very nice people. Just misguided. No one can "work" their way into salvation

  • CON'T:

I'm the only LDS member in my family and I never get looked down at for not having the Priesthood in my family. Our church is true and what we believe is the gospel of Jesus Christ and in order to realize that fact about the church you honestly have to have an open heart for change and repentance. I can only hope and pray that all those people who think we're a "cult" will one day except the gospel and see the true blessings and happiness it could bring to your life. =)

  • CON'T:

We take of the bread and water in Sacrament meeting to remember Christ and renew our covenants with Heavenly Father.

Also we do not believe that we are flawless. We deeply believe in repentance and the only way to repent is to first admit you've done something wrong and second is the willingness to fully give yourself to God to make a change. We know we're not perfect that's why we humble ourselves before Heavenly Father and ask for help.

  • When people know the truth they run away from it because it doesn't "fit" into their lives easily. Mormons are Christians. Jesus is the core and foundation to our beliefs and we all know it's only through him that we may return to live with our heavenly father. To be a Christian is to be a follower of Christ and what other religion is more obedient to the word and gospel of Jesus Christ? The answer, Mormons. To hear that not once Jesus was mentioned in Sacrament meeting is VERY hard to believe.

  • Wow - you say that you felt like you weren't a family anymore after your father died? The LDS church is almost the only religion that teaches that families will be together in the after life. How does that make a family feel like its over? I'm sorry you felt shunned for not having the Priesthood in your home, but I have never seen that treatment any where else. Please remember that LDS people are not perfect, but the doctrines are - which also teach about having a relationship with the Lord.

  • The LDS church is almost the only religion that teaches that families will be together in the after life.

Where is that found in the Bible? Not the BoM

  • pumpkin2244,

The Mormon "God" is a glorified man. The Mormon "Jesus" is one of many "sons" literally conceived and "born" via celestial sex with his "Goddess" wife. These facts alone put Mormonism far beyond the pale of any acceptable variation of Christian doctrine (Catholic or Protestant). There is nothing at all Christian about it. They also completely pervert the doctrine of the atonement.

  • Can you please confirm this "belief" with scripture, because other than some statements by Brigham Young that you are totally taking out of context, and heavily elaborating on, this is entirely false.

  • She has obviously had a different experience with Mormanism. I was a Christian and attended many different churches at different times including baptist, alliance, united and others. I switched to the Morman church because I found it to be the most true, the most welcoming and kind and the most non hypocritical church I have found. The people are wonderful, the teachings and doctrines are sound and it does go along with the bible's teachings and does not believe in a different Jesus.

  • I feel sorry for this gal. After watching the video the 14th verse of Ephisians 4 came to mind. She seems to have been, and is still being, tossed about by every wind of doctrine. She made assumptions based on peoples treatment of her, or her percieved treatment of her, not on doctrine and God. She felt "shunned" at 15...have people in "Christian" churches never shunned? Using this logic there is no true church because every church has done that at some point. I could go on but no more room.

  • yup, I call a spade a spade when i see it.

  • Canandianbacon007 Wow! Do you eat with that mouth?

"That's one of those most common doctrines in the church" What doctrines. You Mormons don't have any. All you have is a history that you deny and a book that is a poor imitation of the Bible. Where are these doctrines everybody keeps talking about? I would love to get my hands on them, but I think that Moroni took them back with him also.

  • We have plenty of doctrines, and they are all centered on Jesus Christ. I know all the anti Mormon rhethoric, theories, and smear tactics, so save it for someone else, you think has a frail testimony, and you think can manipulate with you're dim views. Have a nice life.

  • Bible quotes AGAINST mormonism

    (Galatians)

1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
