  • gay.

  • This song brings back such good memories. Like my first love and how we met. It was 1985 and I was drunk off my ass. I laid her down on a bare stained mattress in a stale, dark basement of one of my friends parents. She said no a few times, but I persisted and 3 minutes later I was finished. The soft light of the gas heater lit up her face, as a single tear dropped from her eye. Then, she threw up.

  • SOME OF DEL.CO.'S FINEST BACK IN THE DAY! COOL VIDEO!

  • 38 Special had some really great songs and this video is really cool.

  • 25 idiots...not bad LOL ;)

  • This was filmed in my old town, with some the actual Police Officers.

  • What say the policeman?? write it please

  • Good ole Southern Rock, yeah

  • This may be the most forgotten rockers of the 80s. I was a senior in HS when this gem was released on single. This band gets prejudiced like some other great southern 80s rockers....say Molly Hatchet, Drivin N Cryin, and ZZ Top. Yet where would music be without those great bands.Too many are overlooked or forgotten. Its why I started a multi generational band support effort called TOTALLY MUSIC ARTIST CHANNEL. Over 200 bands have become official supporters in less than 6 months. You will love it.

  • SORRY PUNKS YOU MISSED ALL THIS ROCK AND ROLL TOO BAD GO BACK WHERE YOU BELONG HOME IN BED

  • With Hills street scene also??? So cool and funny!

  • awesome chord changes.

  • They weren't too pretty but there was something magical about their music, deadly combo of voice and sound. I miss the 70's and 80's :o( I'm getting old.

  • .38 hit #20 in Billboard, 3-24-84. God bless ya, for postin' it Thanx! Have a great week!

  • Great song they sure are ugly though.

  • Get down, eighties!

  • Always loved videos with a sense of humor

  • I wish even VEVO would remake a HQ version of this vid,it is just so likeable,realy..

  • this was a great show back in the day and god do i miss the 80's and everything about that ERA .I miss it so much and the crap they have on now for music sucks.I have to tell yea that Lady Gaga is not from this planet that for sure she is not playing with a full deck

  • For those of you too young to remember, the beginning of this video is a tribute to a popular tv series of the time, Hill Street Blues.

  • To be young and bullet proof again.....

  • @iluvthejobros9 Yeah. Your username says it all :P Also, I'm 14 and this is my favourite song. I also like how the video's telling a story, instead of sparkly women wearing less than a square foot of clothing.

  • Those 24 dislikes must the brain dead rap crap lovers...

  • Who the f#*k doesn't like this song? What the f*#k is wrong with you?

  • Every time I watch this video I say, what the fuck.

  • @Slagtheangry ...Then don't watch it.

  • @08Peacock

Or I could watch it because it's so strange.

  • Videos were just so awesome back then. Give me a Men At Work video over Lady Gag-Gag ANY day.

  • Not only does this song kick ass, it was the funniest video ever. They were born too late to be silent film stars, but being a great band is just as good. LOL

  • I laughed when Donnie was "beating his meat" in the slaughter house, lol. Man, I remember these guys growing up at 10yrs old. First time I seen a vid. for this song, though. Geez, time flies.

  • right on jo bros your right

  • this video is around early 80s not 90s

  • awesome song, owns all this crap they play now days

  • a good song and cheesy stereotypical comedy...what could an 80s fan want more

  • she was the town bike!!!

  • Great song, great video

  • 24 justin beiber fans i see

  • I bet that chick had a full bush. Just sayin.

  • @patrickhenrysghost i really love to watch vintage porn..and im 17

  • I feel so blessed to experience the 80's as a teen.

I miss the fashion and the music. The 80's was an awesome time

    and the 90's too!

  • @karrs8000 i so agree with you..for me my teenage years were mid 80's to 90's..still great music all around@

  • This video's so fricken FUNNY! .38 SPECIAL is timeless!!!!! What an incredible melody!!

  • I was watching VH1 and saw this video with my friends and we all realized this is one of the most rediculous videos we had seen. We couldn't even listen to the music because we were blown away at how fucking weird this video was.

  • cool cool cool!!

    俺は日本人。38specialは俺の青春の尊い思い出だ。畜生!涙が出てくるぜ!

from Far East Japan with love

  • Now if only Justin Beibber can get shot with a .38 Special...

  • .38 Special could fit right in with the 70's.

  • sorry guys but the 70s were better than the 80s in terms of music.

  • That woman in the photo looks like a man, man.

  • @7beers How bout no, u crazy dutch bastard.

  • @7beers Well, give that man to me. He's handsome!

  • The beginning of the video was filmed at the Collingdale Borough Police Station. There were Officers from the Collingdale and Darby Township Police Departments. The first face you see is that of officer Fred Howell. Aldan PD. Most of the other guys have since moved on or retired. The car they were driving was an old Collingdale Police Car. It was used to follow the street sweeper so the Officer could write tickets for blocking the street sweeper. Great song and Video!!!

  • I saw this oh, so many years ago, not on MTV mind you, but NBC TV's free Friday Night Videos. Will Ferrell appeared on that show before it got dropped too! Celebrity hosts peppered the broadcast over the years, it was awesome!

  • Miss the 80's!!!!! Thanks for posting!!!!

  • Whatever happen to this awesome band.

  • @tomcamp6023 Still touring! Saw them in August. It was a great show. Although it had to be shorten due to a thunderstorm rolling in.

  • @tomcamp6023 Still playing live, like the Eagles are. And Skynyrd

  • I'm a groupie for you!...Especially Donny!

  • Music in the 80s was so much better than most of the stuff on the radio today. I'm 19 and I think this.

  • @iluvthejobros9 Says the dude with JoBros in his name lol. But hey I think the same thing as well and im 19 too.

  • @Legacy786 Cool! Yeah I used 2 b a Jonas fan and I'm a girl lol.

  • @iluvthejobros9 yeah Kid, but the rich young bastards can't make anything off of it. Keep thinking though. It will get you ahead. Seriously.

  • @iluvthejobros9 I agree - and I'm almost twice your age - but bias aside, do you know why? This music was feel good music. Radioplay today is so damn depressing overall. I feel sorry for your generation. Life's not that bad!

  • @iluvthejobros9 its good... im 14 and i love this music

  • @iluvthejobros9 u know that 38 special origenated from lynard skynard in about 1990 so there 90's music not 80's

  • @BlazenMods If it originated in the 90's then why do I remember listening to this song about 1984? Go look at their singles and when they were released.

  • @iluvthejobros9

80s were better than music today but the 70s are where its at :)

  • @iluvthejobros9 most??? how about all... most of the 80's stuff is better than music today.

  • @iluvthejobros9 im 17 and totally agree

  • @iluvthejobros9 HELL YEAH! I wish we had invented a time machine, accept, there might not be so much room in the 80's!

  • @iluvthejobros9 I couldn't agree with you more! I am 38, and you should have been there with us... it was a very special time!

  • @myalaynaangel i am 38 also. it was a very special time. lost in the 80's forever. have no desire to come to 2011-12!

  • @iluvthejobros9 Im 14 and i think this!

  • @iluvthejobros9 I'm 14 and I approve of this message. xD

  • I love how in the video they do everything as a group.

  • To be continued?? What's the next song??

  • @dontcallmefornothing I think it was a joke, perhaps, but I can't recall more then two videos following the concept. It's been so long I can't recall the other one, but this one is classic and the first. Parodies Gene Hackman scene at the end there, and Hill Street Blues TV show from Stephen Bochco (sp?)

  • If you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!

  • "Souther" Rock at it's finest..and you can actually understand the lyrics and the songs don't all sound the same....Kids today have no clue..I'm so glad I grew up on this music and not the crap of today ;-)

  • @catsnvegas Amen, our kids wouldn't know real talent if it smaked them upside the head. Beiber,ga ga and all that just makes me wanna puke....mtv ruined rock and roll.

  • Seriously, do we hear a band like this today???? No. They are saying that Justin B. is what we are in for, I swear i am scared, yet glad I have cds.

  • Saw them live about 2 months ago! Awesome!

  • I miss the 80's!

  • what i would give to see the two drummers in this video and carlisi rejoin 38 special and play a tour or something. id pay alot to see that show moffet could like take a break or something carlisi and chauncey would be so awesome together

  • OK got a question. I recognize steve brookins as one of the drummers. Who is the other drummer in the video. These two drummers are my favorite drummers of all the ones who have played drums for .38 special

  • was this song in THE GOODS?

  • I guess the band had alot of time off in Philadelphia when they decided to make this video.

Great song and cool video with a lot of local flavor.

I love the whole Broad Street Subway scene at the end!

    Priceless.

  • I may be old..... but these guys are awesome!!!

  • @torro454 Was this song in The Goods movie?

  • Love this song. Saw 38 special , and My sweetie Bret Michaels and lynyrd skynryd in concert.. such a good concert..... 38 special opened the show. They were so good. Everyone was up and moving when this song was on......

  • Okay, so at the end of the video it says "To be continued..." Does anyone know if it ever really was continued? Just wondering, lol

  • the intro sounds exactly like caught up in you

  • ever notice these guys lyrics are intense and indepth. they always tell a killer story of life. not just this song, but all there songs. its not just the same three or four words repeated over and over. very talented!!!!

  • She's only dangerous cause of the number of STDs she's picked up sleeping with so many guys.

  • I PLAN TO SEE .38 SPECIAL WITH LYNARD SKYNARD AT CRUZAN AMPHITHEATHRE IN JUNE . GOOD OLE SUMMER CONCERTS AND THESE ARE EASY FEELING SONGS THAT ARE SO EASY TO SING WITH. YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE WORDS. THIS VIDEO IS FUN TOO. REMINDS ME OF HILL STREET BLUES. I MISS THE 70'S -80'S TIMES WHEN PEOPLE WOULD JUST HANG OUT AND DIG ON EACH OTHER AND RAP WAS TALKING.

  • @TheGoldenDragonfly Thats a good show, although when I seen them it was Hank Jr, 38 special and Skynryd. Great bill~!

Ya gotta see these guys. They are ON.

  • Is the guy that played Tony Soprano in this video? I swear, the guy at the 3:15 mark looks just like him!

  • silly video , i agree but a great and fantastic song !!

  • Clever, silly video from the 80s.

I don't miss everything from that era, but I sure as hell loved the pop music then.

I don't know where we went wrong in terms of writing good, catchy pop and rock music.

    What the heck happened?

  • I couldnt agree more with you...Great COMMENT

  • We Americanized Eastern Germany. They came over here and latched onto Alternative. Then Kurt Cobain died and before we could react or let it all sink in Yahoo! started making Wayne's World students into overnight millionaires. While everyone was busy making money all their heroes began passing away left and right. First it was Eazy-E, Zappa, Jerry Garcia and Selena. Then Tupac and Biggie. Meanwhile all our rowdies sought therapy and turned into The Osbournes and Dr. Phil. Now shrink kids rock?!

  • Uh..............................what?

I don't think this is necessarily the answer, Mysterwright, but I like your imagination and creativity. Keep up the good work and be sure to mail it in to Rolling Stone, Nylon, etc.

  • Thank you. :) That last part was poking fun at Freaky Friday starring Lindsay Lohan. 2003 was kind of like the last big nostalgic hurrah here in California with white people before Schwartzenegger became Governor. Mexicans represented with Ugly Betty in 2006 and 2007 after Dems took house & senate but when UB couldn't be stepped 2 they were recruited out of state & got dissed saying it was taking work away from Cali to film in NY and had a no-no law named after them. Suggestion killed the 80's.

  • @Mysterwright there is no "t" in schwarzenegger

  • @EpicDesires69 No, that's no "I" in team.

  • @Mysterwright Yeah, agreed. Oh, and fuck WMG for their censorship. Well, I can see there're a few of us out there who still think for themselves. We haven't had individuality leeched out of us yet!!!

  • 0:13 is that Ted Turner?

  • Comment removed

  • the 38 special sound on this song paved the way for progressive rock in the mid 80s, i love 38 special, i like them better than lynyrd skynyrd in my opinion

  • cobwebs

  • Awesome song!

  • @ThePeteMossShow So bad that music now a days is not that good don't u thik?

  • One of my favorite bands from my very favorite years. 1989 at its best! Thanks for the video:)

  • This song came out long before 1989. I think it came out in 1984. Their album Rock and Roll Strategy was released in 1988, the album they released without Don Barnes. 1989 was a good year for me, though, too. Dave's Beach in Fall River, Ma, illegally purchased beer and a station wagon that served as a motel every Friday night, but I digress...
