As a bit of a tomboy growing up, I have been known to be a tool junkie, and a Dremel was the first powertool I ever asked for from my parents when I was 10, and then my first service dog just happened to be named Dremel. And, my mom's name is Lana! <:-)
I was just curious what type of bit you find most useful? My 40 yo eyes are having a little trouble making it out; are you using a pointed sanding bit, or maybe one of the ones that feels like hard rubber with bits of abrasive particles in it?
Lanaaaaaaa I reeeeeally like the way you've done your makeup in this video. something is VERY different. I think it's your eyesshadow. I like it better with the dark color on the outer edge like this. Also, I think the warmer brownish color is prettier than your cooler eyeshadows. Now, this is just my OPINION, so yeah. XOXO
Well this makes me feel stupid. I've been using a Dremel for a few years on my dog's nails, it's better than cutting them since you don't run the risk of hitting the quick (especially in dogs with dark nails) and there are no sharp edges. Yeah so I never thought "Why don't I do my own nails with this?" Nope, hehe...didn't even cross my mind.
Lana's videos are so nice to watch, and I love the fact that she dosent have clutter, and distraction laying all over the place.
The VIT A- and C-SILVER are a must, I am close to 40 and was always told to use SILVER as it was LOADED- Ok so nails are so important, they show you care ABOUT YOURSELF- I being a guy do what I can- LOL
Did you make a video showing how to use this tool, if not would you please make one? I have the tool. I do my own nails, never been to a salon to see one in use.
We found something for our dog that improved skin a lot; a diet supplement oil blend called "Dr. Baddaky's Fish oil". There are probably lots of brands out there. That improved skin and fur a lot. I also found a product called "Placue off" that solved a problem our dog now and then had with bad breath. It really helped her have healthy teeth all her life. I gave her that seaweed stuff everyday for the last eight years she lived, and never had to remove scaling at the vets after that.
I watch you everyday, love you! Have you tried a "traditional" nail grooming buffer? i know Conair makes one, and Im sure. I just wouldnt want you to hurt yourself "Dremmeling" (LOL) your nails! I know when I get acrylics the salon uses them, but on bare nails-YIKES!
I've been using this for almost 15 years! I'm not talking about using a GRINDER, but there sooo many attachments that one can use to file, shape, polish and buff that traditional groomers just don't have. It's a simple, easy alternative.
Oh, I bet those toes are cute! I may try those. That would be adorable with sandals! I can only dream about wearing sandals right now... I swear I saw a polar bear in our frozen pool today! Ha!
I also have that same file/buffer. My husband was asking me what on earth it was and what I did with it! LOL I of course had to buff up his nails then;o) LOL
I used the cute press-ons on my toes and they look like I just stepped out of a salon:o)
Yes, when you take them off or they fall off they will leave a bit of glue residue but that is when I use my little Dremel tool or a nail file and buff it off. They are fun for a change. If your nails are really in nice shape, I wouldn't use them often. Try Loreal nail in Grow Stong as a base coat.
How funny about the nail in your husbands beer!!!!!!! Lana, I also feel sooooooooooooooooo sorry for my husband, I don't have to tell you why I'm sure you've got the same stories that I do! Listen, question about the nails, when you go to take them off is there glue all over your own nails?? I would love to try them but my nails are in beautiful shape and I don't want to ruin them, my only problem is they will not grow long. Thanks!
Izzy is beautiful!
