  • The two of you have essential things in common, for instance a sense of being eternally On The Road, a moodiness, a celebration of imperfection, a searching quality that's at once dark and playful. You're innocent when you dream!

  • @tedgangersongs You say the nicest things !! When it comes to celebrating imperfection, I think I have Tom beat !! haha I saw him live in Hammersmith during his Frank's Wild Years tour. He is almost impossible to see now unfortunately.

Thanks for that wonderful comment Ted !!!

    :)))

  • Loving your work...very emotive!

  • @TheBarrettMusic A great honor. Thanks Mark.

    :))

  • BEAUTIFUL, yes it is...

  • @smoothvelvetsinger I came soooooo close to deleting this. No=one seemed to like it. It could be tighter musically. But it has it's charm. Thanks for watching this Eric. I am glad you saw it. Andy

  • @kumhuiguitargirl Thanks Kumhu i!!!! I nearly deleted this one as not that many people watched it... I have all of his records. Saw him once live years ago. Never forgot it. He can be off-beat one min then kill you with a beautiful harmony the next.. I love that. He is very funny too. The first pic.... I put my name in the wrong place.... It niggles me every time I see it. Thanks for checking this out. Sounds like we like the same music. I'm glad you're around. Thanks for watching Andy xx :))))

  • I can see it...very nice indeed.It doesn't even miss Ribot..

  • @fendermac I love Ribot ! Saw Tom ages ago during his Franks Wild Years Tour. Had a thing for these strange white guitarist guys doing odd things with their guitar, Bill Frizzell, MacLoughlin, (everybody else seemed to like Mike Stern, John Scofield...Yeuck.. Not for me) Even Andy Summers had a unique thing going on too. Thanks for watching. Swordfishtrombones is my fav album of all time. Was a bit worried it would be too slow. But it has its charm I suppose. Thanks again Paul.

  • your place seems to be a good place *

  • @fancynot Thanks FN. Yours too, from what I have seen. I liked this one, but maybe it's too slow for most people.

  • MY LIKE #22.LOVED THE IMAGES where did you find them,!!!! superb and different, <i have to admit I liked everything musically that happened after 2 minutes 3 sec it came alive for me from that deep string instrument sound still listening to it in fact, love it thank you Andy, regards David.5555555

  • @beachfrontal My stuff usualy demands a bit of effort (and trust) from those listening in. Hope they like it. Glad you liked this one. It's a little differet. The pics are great I think.

  • Very sad and Solem Music and an interesting montage of images

a True Artist Excellent Toracube thanks for sharing Jorek.

  • I loved the music, mind you, the pictures are really compelling viewing. perfectly complimentary. *****

  • @andrewnorris1 Thank Andrew. Sometimes they take over a bit. Hope they took you away for a few mins. Thanks a lot for watching. I have an odd style... Andy :))

  • @Toracube Yes, the whole video took me away for quite a bit, with each viewing...and I like 'odd'. Good work, Andy, I shall enjoy trawling through your back catalogue and look forward to new postings.

  • @andrewnorris1 I was sneaking a look at your vids as work. Risky buisness as my boss hovers. Going to check out all of your stuff. They look amazing. Glad you are around.

  • Very impressive! Nice music and pictures. Nostalgic I would say! Great work Toracube! I wish you a Happy Easter.

  • @mammacarmela1951 Thanks for watching. Really nice to hear from you. Happy Easter to you and your family. Glad you liked the vid. Andy x

  • I loved the images you picked to accompany your music.

  • @DickensianDreams The images sometimes detract from the music. It's a constant battle !! Thanks for watching. Andy

  • Gosh, I really like this very introspective,an emotion we/I feel too quite often..painful .cathartic+strenthening eventually though !l...jolly good indeed,,I ramble sometimes..thanks Ursula+goodevening,,oops very late..')

  • i love your description of this, andy, i ask myself that everyday --do i really belong here?

  • Hi Arleen. Thanks for watching. Been feeling very disjointed recently. Nearly pulled the plug on this YT thing even. The older I get the more insular I seem to be. Questioning everything. Odd. Nice to hear from you. Andy x

  • Thanxs to let us coming in your universe, Andy ;-)

  • @mistou68 Thanks Mistou. Taking a little break from YT. Thanks for watching and for your sunshine. xx

  • truely excellent Andy *****

    john

  • @externalcontrol Thanks John. Glad you liked it. Trying a few ideas out here and there. Going to get a bit way out on the next one. Thanks for watching. Much appreciated. Andy

  • Hi Andy. Beautiful music..amazing images. Deep, thoughtful, creation. Loved this.

Take care my good friend! Hugs, Päivi

  • @Sleepingsun4 Thanks Paivi. Always great to hear what you think of my babies. Hugs back at yah. xx Andy

  • Always trips me out the way you space your music. You tell a story about yourself? Only you can answer that. One of my favorites of yours. Cheers.

  • Thanks Randy. Less is more sometimes. Sometimes less is less. I often get it it all wrong. Thanks for watching. Hi to the gang !

  • Good to see you haven't been static in the attic. No bats in your belfry Andy...well not many at least.

Loved the pics as always and the music held it all together. The strings has a nice warm tone too.

    5*****

    Cheers, Dave.

  • Some Rats though. The cat is very fat. (Bad sign) Thanks for watching. Sorry I am still out of the loop. Had to carry my huge imac into work to post this. Walked past the Estate.. Did t all in my lunch break. This'll hae to do..

    Glad you liked it though!!

Always great to hear from you. Are YOU Stickman?

  • @sproutcentral I hate it when that happens.

  • 4 minutes and 12 seconds of wonderful music & pictures Andy, added to my favs, life in the attic is creating beautiful work, good luck with the internet.

  • Found out we have something called Bebox..?!!! Looking in to boosting the signal. But it is doing my head in. The thing spins like a washing machine. Watching a 4 min vid takes an hour. Not good. Glad you liked it.

Still want to see you gigging !! The world needs yah.

  • Wow, Andy - you must be on top of the world! (I live in a cellar)

This is another of your engrossing pieces. The photos are always a draw -each one so fascinating in and of itself - the music (especially fine) flows and fits wonderfully. Such beauty for the senses!

  • Thanks Scott. I am working on something a bit odd/different. Nearly done. Hope I can pull it off. Trying things out.

Wish my technique was a bit better though. I post a vid then hear the flaws. Frustrates me, no end !! But I try. Thans for watching, and commenting.

    Andy

  • where do you get the pictures from? You seem to have a endless library of amazing pics.

  • This has calmed me somewhat after the struggle with the new arrangements on youtube......Lovely stuff

  • YT are doing my head in too. Love the idea of YT but hate what they are doing to it. Wish they would listen to us... Thanks for watching Paul. Andy (on your side)

  • The sparseness of your composing leaves just enough to the imagination. Always a treat to listen, Andy.

  • Another thought provoking piece from YT's best,!!!actually makes it worth staying on YT to see gems like this one..there's way too much of the same on YT !!..lovely use of musical composition juxtaposing with imagery....so many people here stand alone maybe in reflection or grief ..see the old man holding the cross....yet real human solidarity+love is here too...0.46 the lady bathing the man's forehead....jolly good,as this has been done in your time of transition too....5*'s pixie xx

  • Thanks for watching Pixie. Glad you liked it. Prefer to get a few hits from good pals than 1 Million people I don't know. True that. Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. Andy.

  • No problem..it's a pleasure,I'd rather patronise "I don't mean that in the negetive sense either!!!] someone with real passion for what they do ..than try+find something "to say" about mediocre "art" vids on YT..lets face it there's too many o'level standard works out there!!! lol..why are you at work still..eat your tea!!! love the pixie...xx I'm cold+wet,I went for a walk, feel bluuuuueeeeeeeee! xx

  • Loved it Andy:-) it fits me----I would not have guessed Sax, but rather old fashioned caliope..........I'm somewhere amongst that lot...of cope-ers;-) ................always fascinating, It does not surprise me you managed to pull this off..... hope you are "internet ready" , real soon........much XOs, Laurie

  • @cinderellalifestyle You and me are cope-ers both. Gave the landlord £10 (he assured me he had internet) but found out I can't get a signal. I live in the attic...

Coping, ever coping.. Thanks for watching Laurie. A special hug goes your way.

    xxx

  • Good one Andy, always haunting yet it has this sense of realism to it I can't explain!

    xx, Ami

  • Thanks Ami. Love the pic of the Old Man at the grave. One pic that really moved me. There is a lot in there. Glad you liked it. Andy

  • andy, you and one other, caren (eaglecrowowl) make the most engaging fascinating time well spent videos on youtube.i think i even saw a still from "i am curious yellow" in there,, nice,, jimmy

  • Wow ! Overwhelmed on that one ! I do worry that I am a bit to arty-farty sometimes. But then I go 'What the hell' (I like the films and if someone goes and checks them out, I have done my bit!

I am a big fan of Caren's too. Love her passion and creativity. Great to hear from one of Youtubes greatest Rockers (Check him out, see for yourself, people !!!) Thanks a million for the heads-up Jimmy !!!! Andy :)))

  • Hey Andy, great job!! Those pictures are great, where did you get them? And what about the music? I loved it. The boxer in the end looks a bit down. Hope he's going to get up. Thanks for sharing this, my friend. Always great to see your stuff. :-)

    Paolo

  • Hey Paolo.! Just uploaded it. We are all a bit like that guy. It's a place he didn't want to end up. Hope he makes it too. The pics are from old movie mags. Most of my stuff comes from Foreign Movie Stills. I am a bit of an addict. Great to hear from you as always. Andy :))))
