Although it seems really terrible from this video when the Midwest is struck by the tremor, I don't believe that a country like America will really go down because of it. Just look at China, even though experiencing a 8.2 quake in 2008, a 6.9 quake in 2010 and a devatating landslide, this country shows no sign of going down. In fact, today China has just exceeded Japan and become the world's second largest economy superpower.
