  • John was very angry and sad at that time, his marriage was breaking up etc, no wonder he did that. Poor guy

  • I was very lucky to see this concert and the tribute concert live. My best mate got me the tickets for both and I will be in his debt for ever.

  • John threw his guitar because he was very emotionally instabile at that times, his marriage was falling apart and so was brians, can't believe that this was their last live performance. You will always be remembered Freddie<3

  • @darthgabriel97 John was only worried about h ow long Freddie could keep on going..

  • That's a great job of combining various audio sources and the video of the Last Concert. Queen really was one hell of a band, weren't they?

  • What a day. Will never forget it. Didn't think it was gonna be the last concert. It was such an energetic performance. i always thought it was better than wembly!!!

  • @blueped wow you were there? Lucky you! You saw Freddie live and their last performance! I would trade my entire lifetime to see them live

  • I think the album "Live Magic" has got quite a lot of Knebworth excerpts on. (plus a few bits from Wembley, and Under Pressure from Budapest. Great album.

  • @fitnessisgood4u Yes, almost ALL songs from Live Magic are taken from Knebworth

  • its one of my lasting memory of that day looking round and seeing every body with their hands in the air all clapping at the same time pure magic

  • @bloke9200 I was in the crowd too and remember all of the arms in the air clapping. Brilliant concert!

  • @cyberhiker1 lucky you! I would trade my entire lifetime to see Queen live once!

  • why isn't there a decent recording, they had the camera's rolling, so somebody stole the footage or what?

  • last time he's sing this song... rip

  • GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

  • I think queen were the only band in the world that their music sounded even better when played live comparing to the studio version! Unbelievable!

  • @kitkatiran YEAH so it is.....they were so AWESOME...BEST Live Performance in the world.

  • @kitkatiran you think wrong. check out Iron Maiden, they are as good as Queen

  • Queen was bigger than the four of the band members. It consumed them literally, and Freddie the most....he should have taken better care of himself.

  • @SergiuliKa25 - I think it's from the Rare Live video, if I remember correctly

  • BTW check John at 6:08 :-)

  • @pittrek81 why would he do that?

  • @pittrek81 Did anyone ever find out why John did that, aside from one of those things rock musicians do? Was not aware he was into that kind of stuff but maybe he knew it was the last time he's ever play a note live for a Queen gig!? Now I'm probably clutching at straws!!

  • @TheMinerva82 There are some "hints" on the new BluRay release of the "Days Of Our Lives" documentary. The guy who makes the interview asked Roger directly why John did that, and Roger answered that John was going through a hard period of life on the tour and was drinking a lot

  • @pittrek81 Thanks mate, I never noticed that on the documentary, but now I'm not sure if I have seen the new release you mention. Funny just finding out now 25 years later as I met Roger several times in private and public or I might've asked him myself!!Poor John, cos he's the quiet one in the background we probably all think he just ticks along unwaveringly, or maybe just me! I love John Deacon.

  • wish this was recorded properly, and released

    R.I.P. Freddie Mercury!!!!!!!!

  • @gindalf0492 You're NOT the only one :-)
