@theant1987 I have to agree... I mean, it's pain chance is huge. The plasma rifle stuns it the whole time and just 2-3 bfg hits kills it. Plus it's hitscan.. just not an epic boss. The cyberdemon is fun, the two barons + spectres are fun... but the mastermind is a dumb joke of a character.

FYI episode four "thy flesh consumed" was made as a wad file originally, but in the final cut of the game [Ultimate DOOM] the ID ware programmers added it cuz it was so intense. all the demons continually respawn. the plot is to bring the hurt to the demons to pay them back for killing Daisy. truly epic.

I hated those flying heads more but mainly because they would always scare me when they hit me by surprise from behind. Unless you meant those other red things (the things that look like cows)... You might be thinking of the DooM for the Gameboy Advance. The final boss for the level "Dis" on the GBA was like 6 or 7 Barons of Hell, yeah the Minitaurs, not the Spider MasterMind. It kind of sucked that the GBA couldn't do the originial DooM like the PC version.

That was actually a bogus story made by the guys who made the bonus Chapter. Simply using the rabbit as an excuse to go back and kick ass. the last chapter was made by some guys outside of Id, but had permission from the company. The ending you see before you is the actual true ending.

Well, I didn't cheat, This is the last level, so I had time to get ammo and weapons.

And besides, idfa doesn't work in doom 1 (at least on my version), only in doom 2 and final doom.

Yes, but first of all, there's barely enough ammo in this level.

Second, if you notice, E1M8 had shotgun & chaingun ammo but I showed the most powerful weapon you can get by that point- the rocket launcher.

In E2M8, there was plenty of rocket launcher ammo, and I chose to show the most powerful weapon you can get by then- The plasma gun.

Same here, in E3M8, there is plasma gun & rocket launcher ammo and I chose to show the most powerful weapon, the BFG9000.
