@BreannaLeeB so far it doesn't seem to. i went to a really tough high school that had me really burnt out on classes. i feel like i wouldnt have been as successful with my course work had i not taken a gap year. but for someone less motivated, it is definitely not recommended. it's hard to go back to school once you've taken time off.
