Jdr7704 is the only who makes sense out of all you. You people should try using google or ask some one who manufactures cy, zenoah motors etc.. Gah retarded people. Stroker cranks increase power and torque but with out gain in rpms. Motors w/o stroker cranks rev higher hence more top speed. I'm not gonna argue about rev limiters etc and crap cause I don't know jack shit about that part at least.

geos dont have rev limiters

instead they have a coil which acts as a cdi where the timing advances as the rpms increase

i have a stock ported geo that revs higher than this.

thats not a rev limiter. thats just a broken goped

WOW, there is some stupid ass comments here.

YES, SOME goped engines have rev-limiters built into the ignition coils. This G25N engine has a limiter set at approximately 15K RPM.

The G43L on the GSR40 has a limiter that is set at approximately 12.5K RPM.

In FACT, the coil from this engine makes a good UPGRADE for the G43L. Slight modification to the coil pickups are needed though.

It's the magneto reaching its physical limit. The "rev limiting" you're hearing is the magneto revving up to a point where it can't create spark anymore.

Stroker's don't INCREASE RPM's lmao.

They INCREASE stroke, taking it "longer" to do per revolution, equals slower rev's. You got it all backwards. People DE-stroke their motors for higher revs.

I'd highly recommend you to degree your own motors from now on. Using a thicker gasket is NOT the appropriate way to make these motors. Drop the intake an approximate value to how retarded the intake is (3-4 degrees), leave exhaust because it is already advanced 3-5 degrees (1/4") higher up... ect.

@briggsandclones ok, first you are thinking the wrong way....stroker cranks are( longer)than the stock cranks....the reason why its longer is to make the travel distance for a stroke shorter making higher RPM's

Stroker cranks increase STROKE smart one. Either the casts are modified and the crank pin is pushed farther up, or the original crank pin is removed, area cut, and an offset pin installed.

DEstrokers reduce stroke to increase RPMs. STROKERS increase stroke. Get it right. People destroke for RPM's if you got plenty displacement and more then 6 cylinders, ect. You STROKE gopeds for increased torque at the expense of RPMs, in combo w/ the intake being retarded in timing and transfers/exhaust adv.

I just ordered a .800 spindle for my liquimatic so i can convert it to a sport cuz the spindle on my torque converter cracked. I didnt even know it was a liquimatic. it sucks now cus it will be a sport. all i got on it now is an x-can and a plate. its a g23 lh zenoah engine. i like it!!!!

maybe i had my carb tuned to high i was maxing that day i went out there and hit up a main road at a time of day when noone was on it barly...just full throttle the hole way down the road and when i got far enough locked straight up at full speed i just slid for a while then stopped and started walking home then bought a new head kit and got it going again i sold the ped now...it was fun cy29 ada s1 .850 spindle..603 carb...filter lightned the wheel tuned carb to highest setting...its fun stuff

the pipe is an ada s1 pipe one of the best i used to have one on my reg sport ped i got mine used....its to bad they dont sell geo sports anymore i really would like to own one if anyone knows where i can buy one in good condition or even new would be nice let me no please cause i belive thats the only way to have a rev limiter on a goped...also i may not be able to just go ahead and afford it but just noing for future reference if i do want to buy one would be nice to no were...

If you don't hit the rev limiter unless your scooter is highly modified, and it has a flywheel triggered coil you're not finding a rev limiter the ignition coil is being pushed to its physical limit. You can push anyignition to its limit, but that doesn't mean it has a rev limiter. i had an old pontiac grand am and it would make the same "ning-ning-ning" noise when you over reved it. this car was not manufactured with a rev limiter, i reached the physical limits of my ignition.

guys, the coil on that skewtard is not like normal coils, as the flywheel passes the coil takes teh magnetic charge and stores it instead of sending it straight to the plug boot and into the spark plug. the reason is limits at such a low rpm is because it stores it instead of directly sending it.

For the pipe?You take apart the stock muffler,and screw on the pipe.Make sure the pipe is right for your scooter.For the HP air filter It requires several steps.

1.Open the intake and remove the foam and screens.

2. You'll see 2 screws in the back of the box, remove those and use those to attach the velocity stack, but when you remove the 2 screws, the carborateor, might dangle for the gas tubes so hold on to it.

3. Put on the filter and tighten the strap and your set.
