@SavageRC1 I think the mid tank is definately worth it, especially if your doing it with the FLM low center of gravity tvp chassis. I refill the tank through the windshield and just have a ziptie/fuel tubing handle for easy opening. I also used 1inch shorter shocks to lower the truck. The improved handling and stability, especially during jumps, is very well worth it. I both bash and race, and I would not build another savage without low cog extended tvp's and a mid tank, and lowering.
Great mod! I have a question though. How were you able to not get the brakes to set off while you hit the throttle? I noticed that the brakes on mine would set off when the brake linkage went either way.
I was thinking about doing the mid tank mod and was wondering is it worth it? for a basher atleast. what do you think?

There is a stop screw if you look closely that keeps the brake arm from moving past neutral.
