  • The message is a bit of a misrepresentation. Harris inherited a deficit of $12 billion, balanced the books for a few years, before Eves left a deficit of $5.4 billion, but McGuinty now has us in a deficit of 'bout $18 billion.

  • So higher taxes are the answer? I am paying over 50% of my income to taxes here in Ontario and the deficit under McGuinty is still out of control. The liberals will lie though their teeth to get and hold onto power. Even if it bankrupts the rest of us.
