@Henkkaaa89 And that's a good thing. Because they lowered the engine sizes and power, they forced the engineers to be clever about their designs. Improvements like the double diffuser, f-duct and many more are great technological advances and can one day, improve road cars too.
Think about it, imagine the turbo era mixed with today's aerodynamics, cars would be god like fast. You can only do so much with an engine, but aerodynamics have such a huge future in development.
