What's going around now doesn't even come close to 1918. In 1918, the flu killed; I haven't heard that anyone has died from this flu - they die from complications like pneumonia.

When he announced he did speaker training for GlaxoSmithKline in the past I immediately stopped the video. One other thing that was hilarious is the fact that he's suggesting viral fragments from Spanish Flu in 1918 have been somehow preserved until 2009 and are present in H1N1 now. This might be true but they kept it in a lab though. The fact that H1N1 has multiple fragments of flu in it.... in 2009... one of them from 1918... gives it away (re-created/preserved in a lab and H1N1 was engineered

He's not "honest". He didn't tell you that they changed the definition of "pandemic" in order to call it one! This would not have been considered a pandemic under the old definition. Anything minor can qualify as a "pandemic" now.

Well first of all - 'HE' didn't change the definition of pandemic so it doesn't have anything to do with 'Him'. Or Pandemic.

However he 'honestly' shared that he was funded by the Vaccine Corps. AND still spoke the truth about what is in them, why they are important, and how useless they really are against this current strain.

Why do people say 'swine' flu? You can not catch it from swines/pigs. You do, however, can catch it from birds ánd humans. Anyway, I am suffering from the Mexican flu right now and I am not dead yet. I just feel like crap. =S I should've gotten my first vaccination yesterday, too bad it came too late. Figures.

These viruses, change in birds, then pigs are vulnerable, the virus in the swine changes again and people can get it. You don't get it from the critters, necessairly. It's jus a name for H1n1.

Actually, this virus is partly human h1n1, partually bird fluvirus and partly pig fluvirus. But it can not jump from pigs to humans. But humans can get infected by bird and humans. So I was just wondering why some countries still call it swineflu. There is no logic in that.

It is called Swine Flu because the virus is 70% from swine flu virus, 20% from bird flu virus, and 10% from human flu virus.

About 3/4 of the way thru that long talk, I was pretty sure he said that, incidences of catching it from pigs were rare in the recent outcrops, but there were some incidences of catching it via pigs. Anyway it would be a airborne problem.

I'm not an expert so I'm not arguing the point.

I suppose its like hurricanes, no one will remember hurr.101, But they will rember Katrina, Donna or Fred.

Just like Spanish flu, the flu is called after the place where it 'originated' from or is thought to be originated from. That is how it usually works.

How it works is usually political. The 1876 H1N1 viral pandemic showed up in the 15th U.S. Cavalry 2 months before it hit Spain and the rest of Europe. Spain just did not censor its news. Usually ground zero is south east Asia due to the unique association of man with pigs and birds.
