  • I want to be that announcer. So full of enthusiasm!! He should take over Marty Reed on ESPN

  • wooow look out

  • did anyone notice he was CONVULSING?!

  • HES HAVING A SEIZURE

  • did he die

  • 0:05 helmet :O

  • he races 358 late models now i saw him win one over at lincoln last season

  • the good thing is that you tear it up and build it up and wear it out

  • it is hagerstown speedway... that track is a blast to race on, very fast!!!!

  • Yes, he did return to racing & he won many races after that! I know his dad and that whole family and they are very nice people!

  • one time after rushing to make changes to the car i had to quickly get strapped in and go out to pit road and i forgot to strap my helmet and when i came in i realized it and im like THANKG GOD i DIDNT WRECK!!!

  • People like this should not be allowed in race cars. And promoters should have their asses kicked for allowing such shit on the racetrack. Obvious there are no safety inspections of these cars. "Let's get their money, if they kill themselfs.....so what."

  • Wow never saw a enduro roll like that ouch!!!!

  • His helmet sucked right off the the pure vacuum created by the vortex of spinning air - kinda like a tornado.

  • @itisYOUREnotYOUR Are you for real? What a dumb ass remark

  • @bm2197 are you asking for expensive legal trouble?

  • Man did he ever roll that thing . It held up pretty good for a Home Built . Some of those cars I've seen , are really bubble gumed togather. and that illustrates why you need to have someone who knows what there doing, when weldging up a rollcage.

  • That was at Port Royal, not Hagerstown

  • @RickyG5555

Definately not Port Royal looks like hagerstown to me i'd bet on it

  • This is what happens when people wear helmets that are too big.

  • this is scary to see for me having an uncle and a cousin racing in the enduro division today, even though the technology is so far advanced now than it was then

  • That dude is lucky he was'nt Killed . one more roll over is all it would have took.

  • yeah he races in the limited late model division now. I believe he's racing July 4th weekend at lincoln speedway.

  • Looks like a death twitch to me.

  • @jdogg67333 thats what i was thinking, when people die from major head trauma, they have a grand malle seizure that looks a lot like that. also notice that he isnt speaking, and really isnt focused on anything at all. and right before the video ends, his eyes are closed. Also note the guy in the checkered shirt makes a "cut" sign at his throat, indicating that its over.

  • I was just kidding mccollum33m about not strapping the helmet on He did have it strapped on, just not tight enough apparently.

  • @jstrawse helmets can fly off even if theyre on good. its not that uncommon

  • what the f wasnt he wear a helmet strapped on??? luck he wasnt killed

  • how can u tell he was twiching ?

  • @larsenracing23 if you look close, he is jerking as the announce says he is moving around.

  • it would help if he would strap the helmet on

  • Yea, I'm sure he just stuck the helmet on his head when he crawed in the car with the strap dangeling down , . It's to bad nobody noticed it . He must have fastened his seat belt though, or he might of flew out of the car. like his helmet did .

  • @jstrawse I would seriously doubt he had it buckled....flew off WAY too early.

  • @skeetmc Flew off way too early????? When is it suppose to fly off?? Dumbass!

  • wow that is bad rollover... i was trippin, it looks like he is convulsing.. one lucky dude for sure

  • Did he return to racing later on?Hagerstown is such a fast track.

  • I do not Know if he returned to any kind of racing He may have. He competed in a hobby division and I think I would seek out a different hobby after a ride like that. I was working in the video booth calling the Race and I was sure he would not recover. It was scary to say the least.

  • He did indeed return with even better and faster cars

  • I find it hard to believe that someone can be in a crash THAT severe, and recover. Did he recover enough to resume racing, work or a regular life?

Hope he did make it, but Id have to see a website for the guy to believe that claim.\

  • holy crap...thats one i havnt seen yet

  • do u know if he hit his head cause he is twiching

  • He did have a concusion

  • Hope he was ok. That helmet shouldn't have come off. That was a violent crash. Crazy he's driving such an old car, most guys around here drive metric chassis or camaros now.

  • lucky guy

  • well this happened back in 1986. As I recall he did recover from that Crash. And your right, his helmet should not have come off, but he like so many other drivers simply did not sinch it down tight enough.
