yo how do you pass one thing to another clone?

First record a normal scene with clones, but with a solid thing in the middle of the clones, also make a photo from exactly the same place. Do the basic clone edit in after effects, but add the photo in the backround this time, make a mask in the photo, make it so that you can't see the solid object, then there is no solid object anymore! (sorry for my bad english, i am 13 years old, and i'm dutch)
