how to make a book cover out of a paper bag

    how did i get this?

  • thank u this is my project realy need it

  • GREAT IDEA!!!!!

  • nice idea!

  • Who needs green bags?

  • If the video goes too fast for you, that's what the pause/rewind/replay buttons are for and I love this project! Great for gift giving time especially if you use the cartoon section of the Sunday paper!

  • wow so quick i didnt get any of that :(

  • Way way too fast

  • he is gng very fast!!!

  • I love his voice!!!

  • We must ware planet earth! This is good video that's better idea than plastic

  • I don't wanna waste my time making this im sticking to plastic bags. But good idea making a paper bag

  • @HeartButerfly Moron.

  • Thank God I kept the strings from paperbags. Now I know what to use it for. love this idea.

  • Sooo cool!

Got me a Wall Street Journal at school today. Knew these things were good for something...paper bag, here I come.

  • Great idea for a homemade gift bag!

  • Sure, it would work. But you couldn't use it outside on a wet/damp day, because the paper would become considerably weaker. You also couldn't put anything relatively pointy like a box, as it would tear through were there enough weight.

Paper is completely recyclable/reusable. Whether it's to make more books/magazines, compostable pots, cardboard boxes - whatever; it would make more sense than this.

Use fabric bags - they last virtually forever.

  • so clever!

  • This is awesome...you can get so creative with this. I would use the comics part of the newspaper..I bet that would look cool. I feel so inspired...

  • best!!!!!

  • Can't believe those 5 dumbfucks who rated this down.

  • ¡Thanks, thanks thanks for teachin this...and for care the Earth Mother! (sorry my bad english)

  • This is a very good video! I haven't bought a newspaper in over 30 years, but my neighbors all do. We could start a back yard industry making and selling these at farmer's markets. In my town we could get at least $3. each. One person could probably make 20 in one lazy Sunday afternoon if we lined the project up efficiently. And to make the bags more practical we could line the bags with recycled plastic bags we get from grocery stores.

    The possibilities are unlimited.

  • @MD4URPC It's a good video! But you make a good point. I guess I won't buy pretty paper gift-bags anymore because when they get wet it's all over. And no more buying books either because if they get wet oh what a waste!

Frankly, all kidding aside, we shouldn't be cutting down trees for any of our silly uses of paper anyway. Imagine cutting down huge beautiful trees just to make paper for all our throw-away foolishness. Seriously now! Most people buy and waste far too many paper products.

  • great technique, I can imagine doing it with different kinds of paper and in different sizes for gift bags

  • Mine ripped and i broke my cup =(

  • good idea! Thank you for posting!

  • LOVE IT !!

  • Nice one. I've made one before, but I used cartolina. :))

  • it was a little to fast

  • wow i'm impressed! it's a wonderful idea and at the same time recycles newspapers!

  • wow smart idea : )

    Thank you

  • its a gggrrreeeaaattt idea!!!!!!!!

  • whatever. we are soon going to go threw anoter ise age anyway.

  • Lol ise age.

  • awesome. so many things to do with newspaper. to enhance this idea, if you have a bunch of plastic bags lying around, you could always glue the plastic bags on the inside and outside to make the bag last longer and to be able to carry around items that normally perspire, like jugs of milk and juice.

  • thats really a good idea....

    very good

  • Cant wait to try. Very good tutorial, thanks!

  • An astronaut said on Sunday it looks like Earth's ice caps have melted a bit since he was last in orbit 12 years ago.Bob Thirsk said "It's a very thin veil of atmosphere around the Earth that keeps us alive. There are some effects of the humandestruction of the Earth as well." but I just have the feeling that the glaciers are melting, the snow capping the mountains is less than it was12 years ago when I saw it last time."SPREAD THE ARTICLE TO TEN OTHER VIDEOS IF YOU BELIEVE IN SAVING THE PLANET
