Taimane just recorded the first half of a CD to be released in Japan. She is planning to travel to Japan to complete the CD recording this summer IIRC. You can check her myspace page where she posts regular updates about what she is up to. -aloha : Robert

Haha, all I know about her is what I've learned from watching a few videos on Youtube and reading a little bit of her website. According to another video she's actually 18 now. My best recommendation would be to just search on Youtube, there are quite a few interviews with her the detail her musical progress (she's absolutely amazing now). According to her myspace she's been recording an album for the past two months and will be doing some promotions in Japan (apparently she's big in Japan).
