1 - I actually like this one. It fits the sort of hectic feeling of fighting a boss.

2 - This one just sucks. It's way too slow and repetitive, and it's the only boss music in the game.

3 - This one is alright, but I don't like it much.

5 - I like this one too! It oddly fits fighting a boss, which I like. :D

6 - This one is freaking awesome. It fits a boss battle, and it sounds like a competition, which is what these robots were for.

The best music in general of the series were MM 2 & 3!!!

As far as the boss themes for NES series, the best were again: MM 2 & 3! They were classic, kept you in suspense during the boss and kept you grooving. Even MM 3 boss music during Wily's stages was dark and good. It was all about the basslines in those games and the mood & beat. Next would be MM 4 & 5. Not as hip as MM2 &3. MM 6 Boss music was the least good of the series but MM1 boss theme just sucked & not as cherished or recognizable.
