  • Nice mistake you made David. Wonderful to come across you on YouTube. Don't know why I didn't look for you before. Studio Potters are generally classed as "Crafts persons" but you both clearly show the artistry in your work. I like the idea of sculpted pieces having something to look at on all angles. I used to do a different picture on each side so the user had a choice or a change. Nice notes on the reduction and why you got different results. Kind Regards - Steve - Pittenweem Pottery

  • Very beautiful and elaborate pieces, very detailed work. The piece with the dog is one of my favs :-) Btw, great collection!

  • Do you have a website where you sell them?

  • @ThEeaMaZiNgCaT

We do have a website, but do not sell from it. To find the site, just type in "cuzick pottery".

  • wow...everything you two make is so beautiful, I just saw a video of Mary doing her slip trailing on the Ceramics Daily sight, I'm going to get myself a slip trailing bottle and try it out over the summer when I'm free from school ceramic projects! Great work you two!

  • Thanks, your very accomplished!

  • Beautiful work. Lovely couple.

    Thank you both.

  • I have to ask, on the 4 min mark on this video, what are the colors on that plate and the one after it?! They are BEAUTIFUL!!! Also the very first plate that is shown up close. You have some lovely work and colors, thank you!

  • That glaze is called DC blue, I formulated this glaze, hence the name. It is a cone 10 reduction glaze. The gold color is from iron brushed over the glaze.

  • I would also love to see how Mary does her carvings and slip decorations. Beautiful work Mary and David! (as always!:)) Thank you for the videos...
