FSX ILS Landing At Rotterdam B737-800 In Low Visibility

I need help landing ILS in this mission. Please tell me exactley what to so i can finally do this.

i have a question about free flight:

i want just the part where i land

can i posision my aircraft near the airport so i can make an ILS?or Vor approach?

1:55 = did you use the altitude autopilot ? because if i use the ILS way, my airplane climbs...and does not decrease its altitude...but i see the glidescope on the glass cockpit, the pink thing.

just completed this mission myself and came on to look at how others did it, heh. how do you move around the screen smoothly like that? im using shift + arrow keys like a sucker.

My friends, this is a sim deivce, not a game. It's used for a load of different purposes but not to fool around on. By the way, good landing.

That's VC, how do you zoom out to see the entire cockpit?

hit the plus or minus buttons on the keyboard (normally between 0 and backspace) or press and hold the spacebar then use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out....

Didnt actually, its a fs replay glitch...like how sometimes the reverse thrusters dont activate while replaying (even though you hear the sound)...Sometime i just wish Microsoft didnt ditch the Aces Studio...now we'll never get a FSXI...

Hmmm.... I don't get that problem. But still a nice landing. btw, Microsoft sold Aces but hired a private company to continue. So don't worry, we'll see an FSXI.

u just have to look out for the lights on the runway to know when to touchdown, but it does have its challenge, so it is a good landing

Wow, I must've punched in the wrong frequency because my ILS on this mission didn't work, I used the GPS until I could see the runway about 4.5 miles out.

I dont blame you, i always make that mistake, just make sure you have the NAV1 audio on...that way you'll know if you're established...

I just tried the mission again, I had the GPS-NAV switch on GPS from using the navigational loc.

I did this mission a couple of months ago. The landing was ok, but I nevertheless failed because I hit the ambulance while taxing to park position! xD

you should not use the parkingbrakes to brake the plane in landing.

i didnt, its an annoying glitch...just like sometimes the reversers dont engage and the spoilers dont deploy when replaying...i wish MS would release a patch...

LOL, Automatic Brakes is a computer controlled braking system that automatically applies the brakes as soon as all the landing gears on the airplane have touched down...

They come with FSX, but the "copilot" voice is only implemented into the missions and flying school (Rod Machado)

you need to make sure you are at the right speed (for a 737, full flaps, 145Knots) and the right altitude when you intercept the localizer (mostly 3000ft or less)
