Himachali dress is not the same as Kashmiri dress. They don't wear the Pheran in Himachal. Plus, the culture/language are completely different. Kashmiri is more Central Asian mixed with Rig Vedic, Buddhist, Persian, Sufi and Uyghur influences. Himachali is more Pahari mixed with Gujjar, Dogra and Punjabi cultures. Himachali dress is not the same as Kashmiri dress. They don't wear the Pheran in Himachal. Plus, the culture/language are completely different. Kashmiri is more Central Asian mixed with Rig Vedic, Buddhist, Persian, Sufi and Uyghur influences. Himachali is more Pahari mixed with Gujjar, Dogra and Punjabi cultures. Himachali is South Asian (North Indian/Paki) and Kashmiri is Central Asian. Very different feel to both of them (though both are nice).

Practically everything kashmirpundit4life has said is true.. You will find both Hindu & Muslims Kashmiris with the tribe names Lone, Razdan, Butt, Darr etc. These are all KP Tribe names!, the ancestors of the Muslims who have these names were Hindu or Buddhist at one time.
Also it is actually the KP's who are of pure Kashmiri lineage, as the Brahmins did not marry into other ethnic groups or castes. The muslims however have mixed with Pashtuns/Persians/Tajiks/ coverts of lower hindu castes..

Very right but the truth is Hindus recognize a single deity, and recognizes other gods and goddesses as facets, forms, manifestations, or aspects of that supreme God. Even your own soul is God each soul is potentially Divine. The goal is to manifest this Divinity. Do this either by work or worship. That is what all relgions believe.

i'm punjabi and whole of pakistan is punjabi atogether with kashmir who are fair skinned but these people only had separate identity as nation for 60 years. they converted to muslims probably 500-600 years ago when conquered.the whole of hinduism history is in pakistan.go n check out the himdu temples.
