Making no sense? Wow, let me try again: It is hypocritical to ask God for help when you have shown no interest in following the Bible! It's a bit like calling homosexuality a sin when you yourself are obese (gluttony is one of the 7 deadly sins). Thus, Jerry Falwell was a HUGE (pun intended) hypocrite. And these athletess who ignore the Bible's stance on worshipping money (while praying) are hypocrites too. Lose the Rolls Royce and THEN pray! Which part is confusing to you?

Ricky, one of the reasons I suggested they refrain from praying is that they are hypocrites. You see, the Bible is pretty clear about avoiding material wealth such as the mansions and luxury cars these athletes routinely own. One should not ask God for help while simultaneously ignoring his commands. That said, I think the whole "higher power thing" is goofy anyway but they should at least be....consistent.

Hopefully he isgoing to be ok. I am from the cleveland area and was watching the game. It was definatly not a pretty sight and it never is when and awesome athlete or anyone for that matter collapses on the court. My prays are with him and his family, Hopefully he has a quick and safe recovery and can continue his basketball career
