Well judging from most of the demos on you tube the Mad professor amp is a great sounding amp in the hands of great players. This video here is the outcome of a small hand held camera with a microphone that is not up to the job of recording these high decibels. This amp obviously has a lot of R+D and passion in it. I will buy one one these this year as soon as I save up the cash. I have been playing over 40 years and I know a good amp when I hear one. This is a good amp...
That is one of the worst sounding guitar amps I have ever heard. At what point do you just say what am I doing trying to get enough gain to knock a card of a sill? What use is Full Power Output with Full Distortion? The tone being used is useless for any real musical application and the amp is unreasonably priced and is for the new breed of Boutique Amp dudes that have to have some exotic super amp with a mountain of pedals and they still can't play. Horrible sound. 50w Marshall Master Model :)
have you actually tried this amp in person?? I'm curious as I've heard great things about it. I'm not sure how anyone can comment on the sound of an amp by listening to a compressed video file thru computer speakers on youtube is why I ask. VERY interested in the amp and I'd like to hear about it from people who have ACTUALLY played thru it!!! If not, that's cool. Anyone who hasn't really played thru it in person can't honestly comment on it- if you have- lemme hear your comments!
Then you have NEVER tried it. I have, it is absolutly the best amp I have ever tried. VERY versitile, from blues/country to grinding metal! The only thing is that it is very expensive....
It's the cabinet angle. Marshalls are very directional cabinets. If you were right in front of it, the tone would be much different and most likely better.

the amp is average. nothing especially good. the playing is rediculous, the point is just to demonstrate the sound
