People dont grasp the potental of the mr2, Mid-engine cars engine set up is the same as a FWD, You have very small power loss, But instead of traction loss like in a fwd due to the weight tilting off the wheels. it is pushing on the drive wheels. They hook harder then fwd and rwd. Not as good as awd ,But have way less powerloss then awd. The mr2 may be small engine and small power ,But it uses every bit that it can due to its intended design. Anythings possible nowadays dont be narrow minded.

The MR2 broke on the next run. I know, because I'm the driver of the MR2.

I've been racing for a while on stock CV joints, one was bound to break sooner or later.

Mods list: boost turned up 4lbs over stock (16psi), intake, intercooler, exhaust, regular bfg street tires, and coilovers. I hope i didn't miss anything.

The Japanese spec Gen3 3sgte motors boost a little higher. The US market only got the Gen2 3sgte motor which boosts at around 10-11psi stock.

no its not its an 04 5.7l runs 13.9 NEW mine has 90k mi and i had drag radials on for the first time so i havent found the right tire pressure/launch rpm combo yet
