Serb military also thoughts a thing about there own military doctrine, killing civilians and innconet is something one should aways try do in times of war.
I guess, NATO bombings 8 years later thought Serbs something to, there is always a bigger country with more and better weapons.
Croatia is now independent state, but gaining that independence was a costly affair, I am pretty certain many Croats will never forget and forgive Serb aggression on there young nation.

I svejedno su srbi imali vise od 10000 mrtvih vojnika, vise od 400 unistenih tenkova i 20 oborenih letjelica. Eto snage srpske vojske. Btw, same scenario like in Dubrovnik has happened on many places: Serbs surround the city and then hits UNARMED CIVILIANS. Like in Sarajevo where they were killing young people and women on the streets with snipers.

Croatian Army were formed this very year (1991). In the beginning it was lightly armed infantry force. And it took time for Croatia to arm (under the - unjust! - embargo) and organize its army for offensive activities (mostly during 1995.) ...

there are some sad people posting here. No-one should ever forget what happened but you have to move on. What happened in Western Europe can be a lesson. Two generations of my family were killed by Germans. The City where I was born was flattened by them. Now the British, French, Belgians, Dutch all live peacefully and harmoniously with Germany. We will never forget what happened but we have to move on. The alternative is hatred, war, economic depression, people posting their hatred here.
