This show is painful to watch. The humor feels like it's forced, and it's obvious that alot of people feel obligated to call it "funny" just because seinfeld's name is attached to it. I don't even think it's funny to married couple couples, which surely are the target audience. It is obvious that even the cast knows that the show is not funny, and they have a subtle attitude of "I can't wait till this is over" that you can pick up by watching their (lack of) chemistry with each other
I've watched the Madonna episode, & I really liked it. I dont think it's forced. Of course the concept couldn't be worse, but if the Seinfeld power can continually draw panels such as that one, I think it's almost genius! Their uncomfortabler attitude is not subtle.. they put it right out there and it's funny! One review called it over-editied but to me it looks more like a show thats so bad it was never aired and what we're watching is some loosely put-together look at something that never was.
I'd say the total opposite- people are obliged to think it's not funny because it's not 'Seinfeld'. Honestly, I'm a big fan of Seinfeld, and it's definitely good, but I don't know if it's as good as everybody's memories have made it.
It wasn't the perfect show, and poor Jerry Seinfeld is now reaping the rewards of the most successful show of all time, which unfortunately is complete failure.
It wouldn't have mattered how good his new show was, it's not Seinfeld so people think it just sucks.
This is for AkaXander1 what show did they put on during the closing ceremony? How much of the closing ceremonies did you see? Very interesting, stupid but interesting
I think this could be a great show but how truthful will the people be,most of these show and reality shows would be good shows if the editors would leave them alone

I don't know why everyone seems to hate this show but I LOVE IT! Maybe because I didn't have any expectations about it. People are silly.

This show is a carbon copy of the Sidetaker website.
Sidetaker came out a year before Marriage Ref was announced.
