@kforkarson I don't have all the answers.. All I know is that my dad's friend told me this. It's true that he was always interested in music, and I think it's awesome he pursued it. And Nick is notorious from it because my dad, a voiceover, who worked for them for years, knew a lot of people in the industry. Just because Caitlin dropped charges doesn't mean it wasn't true. Listen, I'm not saying that this whole ordeal was the one reason Steve didn't pursue the job.. I AM saying that it happened.

Thanks for posting, awesome! I started watching Blues Clues with my daughter back in 2002/2003 and by that time Joe was doing the show. When I'd see Steve doing the show, I thought he was a new guy, until I found out that he was the original host.

Great show, brilliant people who came up with the show concept!
