There is a similar tool in 3DS Max where you can morph between keyframes etc. Generally, all morphs have to have the same amount of vertices in order to work properly.

Here's one example: Someday in the future, combine this app with AI modeling to create virtual characters from history, such as Plato, Jefferson, etc. The more writings we have from a figure, the more complete the AI model. It would then become possible to interact with realistic virtual representations.

Totaly impressive. After this, it should be easier to remake movies such as Star Wars. Also, by applying it to old photos and portraits, we may be able to visualize better how people really looked like. Also, the 3D animation industry may use these ideas to simplify the process of animating faces. I bet criminology and other disciplines may get their benefits too...
