the reason that it is called a catch is because the receiver/tightend had an opportunity to have both of ihs feet inbounds, but since the the safety/corner tackled him before he had a chance to do so, it is ruled a catch, it is an official rule in football and madden that if u force a reciever out of bounds before he lands and he has an opportunity to land inbounds then it is ruled a catch
