  • SUUUUUUUPER!

  • well done !!

  • Great!!! Congratulation

  • I like!

  • what a gorgeous song .... buen arreglo musical . felicidades thank you

  • i keep listening to this again and again. it's sounds good. i like this arrangement starts and ends so fast. wished you made a longer version. i would love to hear that!

  • i like the way this sounds, very nice arrangement. i've always liked bossa nova tempo and uplifting

  • Wow sounds great man, thanks for sharing!

  • Very fine playing and song : )

  • I'm digging the whole fade out thing at the end. I have the same keyboard at home. Which effect are you using for the pad in the middle of the song? I just know it's like some kind of of keys with strings but I'm not sure which one it is on the keyboard when you switch.

  • うまいな~

  • Your interpretation of Dorham's standard is ingenious!

  • beantiful arrangement !!!!

  • Fuck!!

  • very nice

  • you came up with this in 1 day?

  • Could you send me the information where I can purchase this?

    ramonhartmanager@yahoo.com

    Ramon

    Thanks!

  • Blue Bossa, no?

  • yeah! that's cool!

  • nice but for the solo a more mellow tone would have been nice

  • which keyboard are you using?

  • is this the makin' whoopie that you're selling on the website? If it is, are you just going to email it or send it to the address of the buyer?

  • Nice...quite a bit of straying from the arrangement, but that's not a criticism.

Funny coincidence - I just brought that model Yamaha in from the garage where it had been wrapped up for a while. The rhythms option make for some fun practicing/jamming.

  • I just love this Darius!!

  • thanks buddy

  • what is the make and model of your kybd? looks like a yamaha

  • hi its a yamaha dgx 300, its really not very good at all when you compare it to much more professional things, but I really miss that keyboard in a funny kind of way, it was easy to record ideas down and save them without all the faffing about of cubase etc, im sure you can find one on ebay, cheers

  • do you have the sheet music or better tell me how you improvisate i cant but i wanna learn it im playing keyboard for 6 years any tipps? pls

  • hi, try to play what you want to hear, and if you find that difficult (like me) then try to get melodic ideas you like from your favourite players and make them your own. I think people have different approachs to improv, but I think that method is great - Some of my friends have amazing pitch and can hear everything, its quite incredible - I hope to Improve my ear overtime and I think you will get good results with any ear training work you do. Cheers

  • thank you! just wait about 2-3 years and i´ll be better than you! yay :D

  • lol, what an odd thing to say

  • thats tight man!

  • i'm afraid your coffee is going to fall.. = [

  • ..!

  • Very nice playing. Definitely has that "Gruisin" sound and feel. Reminds me a little of "She Could Be Mine". *****

  • thanks, ya actually you are spot on! those are pretty much the chords to that A section of "she could be mine", I love your "dig this samba" by the way, great playing, I really want to check out more of Manfredo Fests work, not so well known

  • elevator music at its finest.

  • ahahah great comment =D

  • haha! ya its cheesy, but, what the hell..!

  • HAHAHA, nice use of the psr 290.

  • woooouaw i lust love your chords man ,can you give me some tips ?

  • thanks, ya just try new things, the chords you like, try to work them out and try them in different keys to get their different colours - then after a while they become part of your playing, have fun with it, d

  • nice dude...I like it..

  • Nice version... Some people prefer to play dimnished block chords on this.. but this version is easier to play, because the left play hand plays chords which do not change every beat...

  • Me gusto el final amigo

  • Best version I've heard so far. Amazing.

  • grande piano elettrico il Dgx 500! Lo possiedo anche io... se solo avessero curato più la dinamica... come hanno fatto in seguito con il dgx 620...

  • Nice, you really should get a real piano!

  • his hand is awesome

  • superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Cool

  • not bad darius, it looks like you layered the hand hand with strings as well in the middle section, the problem with doing that is it forces you to play the chord on the first beat of every bar which isnt really keeping in line with the bossa style... nice redition tho

  • Comment removed

  • It's a bossa tune. Latin.

  • not bad.

  • sick!

  • sick!

  • sounds like ceefax]

  • love the layering you did with the keyboard and strings. One of my favorite jazz tunes.

  • DGX 300 rulez

  • Good stuff...like the ending, don't spill your drink on your board though.

  • that is totally awesome man!

  • thanks!

  • hi this is nice im 14 and im ok by ear but this is better than mine thanks for the music

  • Dont worry i am 29, you have a lot of time to play and practice!! Check out Don and Dave Grusin's playing, these guys are really inspirational, best regards, darius

  • Great Song! Great talent!

  • thanks man

  • Your version of this song is the best I've heard yet. It is really nice! Do you have a longer version?

  • thanks very much, i will be putting more videos on soon so stay tuned :-)

  • That Yamaha keyboard is one of the neatest keyboards at a reasonable price around $500 new.

Some great piano, electric piano, flute, sax and other sounds are inside this rom box.

  • ya its a pretty cool keybaord for what it is, ive just sold mine as it was too heavy to cart about, u can pick them up on ebay for a lot less i think (dgx 300), but i have just bought a korg x50 and this really makes this yamaha look like a toy, hope to get some vids on soon

  • cool relaxing music

  • i really like the Bossa nova groove and this version fantastic, it reminds me of the ocean and summer breeze.

  • wow! can i be your vocalist? hehehe

love it.. i actually love classic songs, bossa nova and jazz.. :-) and oh country songs.. LOL!

  • like the end

  • the brilliance of solos by 'Shakatak' is rekindled by this - what a brilliant vid - thank you, harmonically and rhythmically pleasing!

  • Hey, just out of curiosity, what kind of keyboard are you playing this on?

  • Darius, u r a legend! Respect...

  • incredible

  • Excellent!

  • AOUOAUGH! I wish i could do this

  • Nice sound. What keyboard is this? A Yamaha or maybe a Casio? I liked the sequence, and although the progression you moved to after the head is cool, you didn't solo over the actual changes of the tune. But fun anyway...

  • Cool

  • my jazz ensemble plays this song for restaurants in san juan capostrano, california area. i wish we could find a pianist around here who is as good as you.

  • Wow, that was really good. Very accurate technique, good sense of notes and harmony, well done. Top notch. I wanted to hear more of the solo, I was interested in knowing where you'd take the audience.

  • supervb!!!!

  • i love quite a bit but what a shame to not have more solo on your keyboard :o(

Good job man ! chords are nice :o)

  • good ! :D
