There was a music critic back in the day who quipped that Denny Dias looked like a refugee from Black Oak Arkansas. And he really did....

@robertakoon Imy dad once said somebody in Toto was hired to play on a Steely Dan song, and he ha never heard of them before, and was very confused when people who looked like bikers, were playing polished/jazzy rock and not Southern or hard rock.

Yeah, it was the times. Hair started to get shorter when Disco crept up and bit us on the arse. Back then you'd need a genogram template to figure out who was playing in what band this year....it was quite a time.
