I love chloe and Phillip together. I was just watching there old scenes as teenagers with like belle, shawn, mimi, the old brady, and of course these two, and it was interesting and fun to see them as teens. I like these two together, I'm glad they have Parker because it can bring them together, and open up there eyes and see that they don't need that bitch Melanie, and Daniel.

@Marie503874 I have always been a Phloe fan since they first began as teens. I was overjoyed when Jay and Nadia came back. But I have been letting the story guide me and I had to acknowledge where the show was taking them. I think Melanie is Philip's best match ever, but will always love Phloe. I am so happy they gave them Parker, they are now linked forever, however I am also saddened, because I also know what a baby means for a couple in soap land.

You have said it PERFECTLY! My heart broke for PHELANIE. The anger and pain in Melanie, Molly was amazing. Philip's voice cracking,wow Jay was incredible. And Philip and Kate, I just Flove those scenes. When Philip tells her not to assume anything, you can see Kate's heart breaking for her son and her giving him HOPE with Melanie and Parker. One of the biggest reason I FLOVE PHELANIE is because of Jay and Molly, with every scene, even background scenes, they go all out and don't disappoint. :)

I loved Philip's line about never letting her go. Hated the obvious 'I shouldn't have left Nathan' stuff because its obvious and has been since the beginning that Philip is the one for her and always will be. Actually technically you can blame Philip's cheating on Nathan being an ass and kissing Mel, but yeah I know too far. Still can't wait for Mel Pregnant!

Add onto that the fact that Philip proclaimed today he'd never let her go, Victor AND Kate support them, and I think PM have a good shot of outlasting Nathan (especially if another little Kiriakis is actually born). I'm just not looking forward to the dull NM pairing that is coming.

It's just the prospect of Mel being stuck with boring, judgmental Nathan that annoys me. I still have hope that Philip/Melanie will come out of this on top. I can't imagine that the writers invested all this time in them for nothing.

I'm SO sick of this Nathan crap. This story would be infinitely more interesting if I didn't know that I'm going to be stuck with Melanie/Nathan for a while. Nathan just drags everything down. I don't mind the soapy angst of Parker being Philip's. I actually think there is a lot of story to work with there.

@bama02614 You read my mind. I think even if they had a more interesting character in the Nathan role i could bear it more. But the character of Nathan is just a complete fail to me. All the rest of the story and angst to come will be interesting, I look forward to it. But I feel like Melanie is being punished by being stuck with Nathan.

@slyn11 I think my problem with Nathan is that in the beginning you could see he was more invested in being with Stephanie and took Melanie as a consolation prize....He did have a date with Melanie and let Stephanie take over without going after Mel again chosing the girl he really wanted. So for the writers to change that direction of the character to me seems like Melanie again was second choice, and I for one am not buying this massive love he supposedly has for Melanie.

@slyn11 Cont'd - Phillip on the other hand realized what Steph was doing to him & Mel was always there for him & in the last year has come to love her for her, faults & all. He doesn't want to change her or anything about her, he accepts her for who she is not who he wants her to be. Nathan could never do that & finally Nathan asked Steph to marry him without being pushed into it, if he still loved Mel he would still be figinting for her not proposing to someone he doesn't love - so no to MATE

I agree. I was sad for them. I really liked Kate's scene with Philip and Maggie's with Mel. At least Melanie has her.
