@platypusguineapig I disagree, I was a cadet and 10 years later am happy I spent my time at 166. I went gliding, spent summers in Quebec, learned how to shoot, how planes work, all sorts of useful stuff. Now the boot polishing and uniform standards were just sadistic and I could have lived without them but I'm glad I did what I did in the cadet corps.
