Evander was one of my favorite boxers ever. What he lacked in size and power he made up for in heart and determination. He was a terrific counter puncher before his reflexes started to diminish. He also had some of the best footwork ive ever seen for a heavyweight. I like tyson too and followed his career but I predicted he would lose to Holyfield as soon as they announced Holyfield was moving up from cruiserwight to heavyweight. Greatest round I ever saw, especially when you saw it the first time live. Extraordinary. Alot of people were converted into Holyfield fans after this. You could sense the guy was 'Rocky', but after this it was confirmed and alot of people became loyal Holyfield fans after this. One of those cases were Holyfield lost a battle, but ended up winning the war over the long-haul. Holyfield-Bowe was tough on both guys, but it benefited them both in huge ways. Huge bonanza for both fighters.

Though this was a very good round, it isn't nearly the greatest in heavyweight history. Holyfield's 3rd round against Bert Cooper was far better.
